XxxFor the next five days you were dead tired. Dead tired but radiant looking and everyone told you so. Night after night you dreamt of the winged creature and in these dreams, he would whisper sweet things into your ears and press kissed along your skin. He would watch you play in your dreamworld and would join in sometimes. Other times you would find yourself walking into a dream of his own creation. However, they started out, the dreams always ended with you panting in his arms and crying out in relief.
You tried shoving the vibrant dream you had last night away but parts of it kept coming back to you causing you to blush at any moment. Every morning you woke you had to remind yourself that there was no one laying with you the night before. Your body would buzz with memory and desire that it took a cold shower to wash the dream away. You yawned as the dream tried to force itself back into your head.
It didn't help that Yugi looked so much liked the creature in your dream. Yugi even sounded like him too. You blushed and shook your head as you watched Yugi instructing a group of children about Minnie while their parents enjoyed the mini break. The cow let out an impatient moo and the kids laughed as Yugi was forced to pet her head to quiet her. As much as the cow liked pats on the head, she wasn't always friendly to men. If Minnie liked Yugi, maybe he wasn't so bad. Still, there was something about him that was...off, but you couldn't think what it was.
Yugi was never rude or condensing. He follow all of your instructions and was never late for work. You found him easy to talk to and an even better listener. So why did you avoid his advances and ignored his obvious flirting? Maybe, it was because Mrs. Fritz was insistent on him becoming your husband. Or maybe it was because of how the creature looked like Yugi. "You will give yourself to me and only me", the creature had said. Did that promise a reason that kept you away?
Yugi was pleasant to be around but you didn't know much about him even though he has worked for you for two weeks. Maybe, you should change that, if the blonde from the other day hadn't snatched him up that is. "You will give yourself to me..."
"It was just a dream!" You said under your breath as you watch the kids line up.
All of the children where taking turns patting Minnie who closed her eyes happily with the attention she was receiving. The last child was too short to reach the cow's head so Yugi picked him up to help. A small quake rippled in your womb at the sight of Yugi holding the happy child. The feeling snuck up on you and didn't understand it even as you smiled at the sight.
"A handsome fellow, isn't he?"
You jumped at the voice and turned to see a tall thin woman that resemble Mrs. Fritz, but older and in designer clothes standing next to you. She didn't apologize like Mrs. Fritz would have for startling you, so you answered curtly, "Yes, he is. Can I help you with something?"
The woman didn't answer as she watch the crowd of children leave and Yugi move to let Minnie out of her holding pen so she could wonder in her field.
You were about to repeat the question when the woman said, "Yes, very handsome and...lively." There was an undertone that were sure you were imagining but found yourself blushing. She glanced at you, noting, "Your very lively too. A good match. I see Natasha has not lost her touch."
You looked at her. "Natasha, you mean Mrs. Fritz?"
"Yes. I am her sister, Letisha." She said but did not hold out her hand. You had heard of this sister, but she moved from the town before you were born so you had never met her. When she did visit, which was rarely, she mainly stick to her sister's home.
"It's nice to meet you for the first time." You said trying to be friendly. "What brings you here?"
"I wanted to see my little sister's newest match. Our mother trained us both but while matchmaking is more of my sister's passion, I found a broader one."
