"Where were you at these past few days? I know you seen me text you." My grandma stood at my doorway asking while I cleaned my room.
"At a friends ." I made my bed.
"During the school week? You don't have sleepovers and shit throughout the weekdays."
"I'm almost 18 grandma with a job. Even with a job, I've come in later than 12." I calmly said.
"Well since you grown get your shit and get out my house!" I looked at her and finished doing what I was doing. "I know you heard me Jada Gianna." She walked up on me.
"Yes ma'am I did." I walked around her and went to throw away trash.
She followed behind me getting everything off her chest, at least that's what it seemed like to me.
"Alright nani, I think she get the point." Jaden trailed behind us too.
I simply kept my mouth closed and went back to my room and closed the door. Everybody get to speak how they feel but when I do it's a problem, oh okay.
These past few nights at Tre house been peaceful. I explained the situation to his mama and she understood where I was coming from.
That's one thing I loved about his mama, she was so understanding.

I locked my phone and closed my eyes to take a lil nap before work.

"Girl! I am so ready to go hooome!" My coworker Whitney said.
"You and me both Pooh." I said as we clocked out.
I grabbed my to go plates and walked out. I was not tryna be there any longer than I had to.
As I was driving home, Ishayla started calling me. "Oh dadaaaaaa." She drug my nickname out.

"You feel like doing your friend a favor?"
"What is it?" I started to become impatient.
"You wanna put me on with Tre ?" I dang near chocked on my spit.
"My bestfriend Tre ? Like Trequan Tre?" I had to double check.
"Yes, is that a problem? It's not like yall got something going so I don't see why not."
"If I was you I wouldn't be talking crazy to somebody I want a favor from but I gotchu."
"Thank you so much." She hung up.
Continuing the drive , I debated if I actually wanted to do it or not. Then again, ion see no harm with them messing around.
I was finna FaceTime Tre but Dillion started calling. "Yessir?"
"Where you going ?" He squinted his eyes at the camera.
"Home."
"Where you coming from?"
"My job nigga."
"Oh. Why you been avoiding me?"
"I haven't been avoiding you. I've been minding my business like I always do."
"Mhm."
It got really weird and silent.
"Well I just pulled up to my house so I'll see you tomorrow."
"Igh bye dada." I laughed at him calling me my nickname.
"Bye."
When I walked in, I went straight to my room instead of checking on them like I normally would.
I set my food on the bed and grabbed stuff for a shower. Usually I would get dressed in my room but something told me to get dressed in the bathroom.
When I walked back in my room Jaden was laying on a palette he made by my bed. Ian say nothing to him, I just grabbed my food and reheated it.
"Jada" Jaden called my name as I sat back down on my bed.
"Hm."
"I'm sorry."
"You good."
"Not good enough if you wasn't talking to me."
Yea I was ignoring him and I was gon continue to ignore him but since he in my room I instantly changed my mind.
"All I gotta say is don't feel sorry for how you feel." I continued to focus on my tv.
"If you don't want me to talk to them then I won't. I know you just want what's best for me."
"Yea I do want what's best for you and I don't think you should be around that negativity but at the end of the day, those your parents and who am I to stop you from wanting to talk to them," he twisted his lips to the side. "All jokes aside, I'm starting to feel like Nani don't want us here no more."
"Why you think that?"
"Ion think it, I feel it."
"If she was really ready for us to go she'd sent us back already."
I nodded my head in agreement. "True.. maybe, i don't know, we'll see." I contemplated unlocking my phone.
"I just couldn't see Nani doing that." He readjusted hisself.
