"Jada ?" My mama called me out of my room .
"Yes ma'am ?" I walked straight to the pantry to get a snack.
"I have something I want to talk to you about." She took her work shoes off .
"Is it good or bad ?" I opened a pack of gushers sitting down on the stool.
"Well, I got a promotion today." I gasped .
"Oh wow! Congratulations." I clapped.
"But , I also have the chance to relocate to Florida with the promotion ." My smile dropped .
"Moving again ?"
"Well I told them I would think about it because I was going to let you decide if you wanted to stay here or go ."
"As much as I hate it in Tennessee, what about nani ?" I thought about my grandma .
"Lord forgive me but she on her death bed ." She started snickering .
"That's not funny ." I mugged her .
"My bad . But it's really up to you if we stay or not . I don't have nothing keeping me here ."
"Well how soon do you have to give them an answer ?"
"By the end of next week ."
"I'll have one for you by Sunday ."
I went back to my room to finish my homework and take a nap .

This was my second week of not hanging out with the group as whole . I've really only been talking to Charles and he's been telling what's been going on .
From what he's been telling me, Zyaire been on the streets a lot more than he normally would . He hasn't even been with them like that .
I just miss my baby .
I slipped on my Jesus shoes , tossed on a jacket , and grabbed my keys .
"Ma, I'll be back !" I yelled before closing and locking the door.
I sat outside his house for 15 minutes deciding if I wanted to go knock or not .

Is Zyaire home rn
nyjaethegreat : no. he hasn't been home yet . he'll prolly be back around 1 or 2 like he been doing
In the morning ?
nyjaethegreat : yea. did yall break up or something cus he been out late and everytime I bring you up he always catch an attitude

I turned my car off and got out being sure to lock my doors. As I was walking closer to the front door , nyjae came to open it .
"Thank you ." I smiled .
"Of course. Maybe now he'll start acting right again ."
"Personally, I think somethings mentally wrong with him ."she laughed . I took my shoes off getting comfortable in his room .
"You can close the door if you want . I'll just be in my room ." I nodded my head closing the door .
I got comfortable in his bed waiting for him to come home.
I was really hoping that he'd be back earlier than what Nyjae was saying because I wanted to see him to make up.
I grabbed his remote and turned on Rick and Morty to occupy me .
It was going on 10 something and Nyjae knocked on the door. "Girl come in , this ain my house."
She laughed opening the door. "My moms finna be home so I wouldn't make no noise in here , not that you were but do you need anything ?" I shook my head no . "Okay, just let me know."
Once she closed the door back , I ended up dozing off for about 30 minutes or so until I felt a sting making me jump .
"There is absolutely no reason to be slapping my ass that hard ." I quietly said to Zyaire.
He didn't say nothing to me instead, he continued getting dress from getting out the shower.
I watched him the whole time until he got in the bed . He scooted all close , invading my personal space wrapping his arms around me tryna cuddle .
Of course my idiotic ass cuddled back .
"I love you ." I looked up at him.
"I love you too," he starred into my eyes. "Now be quiet so we can go to bed ."

I ended up going to school late again because I had to go home and take a shower and change clothes .
When Zyaire and I sat down at the table, we got odd looks from the group .
"Here , this one's yours ." I handed him his burger out the bag.
I handed the rest of the group the food I got for them , kinda as an apology for distancing myself from them AGAIN .
"So guys , 2 things to tell y'all ." I announced .
They all said their versions of "what ?"
"Okay so the first thing is, I got accepted into TU ." I smiled .
"Okay pooh ." Makiah high fived me .
"That's wassup ." Synclare dapped me up .
"Good job ." Keimari said .
"Dang you finna be a college girl for real ." Charles said making us laugh .
"I'm proud of you bae ." Zyaire said .
I kissed him knowing the next thing was finna piss him off .
"Okay and the second thing is, Jada officially has a j o b ." I did a lil dance .
