'Where are you?'

Now my best mate is a guy named Harry, Harry Williams, he was you're average guy back in highschool, blond hair, blue eyes, freakishly oblivious to girls hitting on him, you know the story of teenage guys, and he's the whole reason I am what I am today, it all started in 2019 in mine and Harry's year 11

Samuel's POV

Date: 3 February 2019

Samuel woke up to a start when his phone was being bombarded with 'where are you?' messages from his friends, it was only their second day as year 11 students and he was already going to be late. He jumped out of bed and ran to his uniform that was strewn across the floor, his new blazer and tie sitting on the end of his bed, his trousers lying on the ground where he had taken them off, he threw everything on and ran outside, to his bike, the one good thing about getting his motorbike liscence was he wouldn't have to run to school in situations like this, he pulled up outside and heard the sound of the bell for registration, he broke into a sprint trying to get to Mr. Ferguson's class before the late bell, luckily he made it, and jumped into the seat next to Harry
"Hey Sami, you made It,  I thought you were already wagging on your second day of school"
"Why would I do that Harry? you wouldn't let me live it down"
"If it wasn't for how true that was it be mad"
The pair shared a laugh with one another before Mr. F walked in, the older man, in his mid 50's with balding grey hair and scars across his face, was never the biggest fan of Samuel but today he couldn't be bothered with any shenanigans so blocked out the students and just sat at his desk, the students took this as a sign to talk amongst themselves and did so quietly, Harry and Samuel turning around to talk to Brair and Avery, Brair Williams and Avery Anderson, Briar is Harry's twin sister, the girl I've liked since year freaking 2, and the one girl in our year not afraid to dye her hair despite our schools strict uniform policy, her normally dirty blond hair dyed into a deep brunette colour, and her eyes identical to Harry's.
"What kept you from gracing us with your presence this morning Sami?" Avery chipped up with in her slightly higher pitched than most voice
"I uhh, overslept" was the only excuse Samuel had on hand
"Overslept huh, must have been having some good dreams, any about me?" Briar added cheekily
"We get it, you're going out, now stop grossing me out"
Harry was let's just say, not on board with Briar and Samuel's relationship, Samuel had been his best friend since they were both going to primary school for the first time, something just clicked that day and such a then the two were practically inseperable, but over the last summer something sparked between Samuel and Briar and on new years at midnight Samuel sealed the deal and kissed her, since then the two were doing more things together, and Harry had felt as though he was robbed of his best friend, although Samuel still spent a lot of time with Harry it wasn't the same, Briar would always come in and annoy them.
"Me and Sami are together Now, you're going to have to accept that Harry, right babe?"
Samuel was conflicted, his best mate or his girlfriend? Oh who was he kidding he knew who he was picking
"Yeah of course babe, plus I'm pretty sure that new girl is checking you out dude"
At that the bell for first period rang, and began the gangs second day of hell for the year, what did they have first? Maths with Mr. Porter, and what do you know, it's day 2 and they're already behind.

But little did we know that it was also the day that our lives were going to change forever.
