While the General caught up with her now small army....

Lys looks at the soldiers gathered around Cassi, then notices Anise walking to him.. "...Thanks..." he says shyly... She replies "You don't need to do that, Lys.." in a soft, happy voice. He replies "Ah... b, but you saved me.. more than once.. .." he looks at his feet "I..."... Anise interrupts him: "Don't say it, Lys... don't... I'm not mad... Don't apologize for doing what you really believed is right...".. He looks up in surprise "But.. you love magic.. and I ...", she giggles "Became my magic!" the little-witch finishes his sentence; causing his eyes to widen, she then quickly says "W, wait! Lemme start from the beginning!". Anise smiles.. then sighs before she explains: "Yeah.. I was mad at you before.. but even before I got out of Japan, I learned how to control the mana around me.. and I easily get back to the academy. Everybody was scared and junk there, because they thought they couldn't do magic.. But I was able to show 'em how to use it for themselves!", her eyes light up even more as she continues: "Can you believe it!!? I was failing before, and now I'm teaching everybody how to use magic!". Anise then continues with a bright smile: "When everyone learned how, we contacted another witch that survived for centuries usin' mana! She said what I learned was somethin' that only the best of the best know! And now the WHOLE academy's learning how to do magic again and it doesn't take demon power!"... Lys continues to listen in surprise as she explains: "So.. Yeah.. l, like I said, I was mad when you killed the queen.. but I realizes she wasn't usin' magic either; she was jus' borrowing powers from monsters who want to hurt us... But now, we can fix our world ourselves! We can actually use magic to make things better, because it's not some kinda monster's energy!"... Lys replies "R, really?.. I'm happy for you! To tell you the truth: I was wonderin' if I did the right thing... I.. I didn't mean to hurt anybody else back then, it's just that.. what they--the demons do..."... Anise happily interrupts him again: "I know... I saw it while I was getting back.. I know why you went.. and I know why you could kill the Archdemons, too...".. Lys stares in curiosity "What do you mean?... It wasn't magic? I thought at least if I wasn't using that, the mana was helping me when I got here.." he asks. The little-witch happily replies "It's my mark... remember when you said: it told you that something's heavenly is needed? When I made it, it was based on what I thought was my very own-magic power... But, if every witch was using demonic power; then it shouldn't of been able to hurt the demons instead of seal them. And it practically lead you to Archdemons and other monsters and beat 'em for you... I... I think it's something else, it's something Heavenly... something I knew was there, but not literally... Something that starts with A ...Well, in Japanese it does.. and it's the same reason you survived... it's also the reason I came back..". Lys stares at her as she goes on then says "???"...

Both jump in surprise as Cassi says "Thank ya for taken care of my Cadet; but I'm takin' 'em back now!", she huffs "I'm glad you found the axe, but did ya hafta try to cut off my face!?".. The General laughed as she walks by Lys and puts her arm around his shoulders: "I wasn't tryna kill anybody, and gimmie some credit; I've been swingin' all kinda things since I wassa kid!!!". Cassi then looks back at the other soldiers: awaiting her answer... "Alright, ya bastards! We're gonna be mercenaries! Lessee who all survived and make some money an' live fancy an' shit! Who wants to be broken and poor when they're old and shit?". Prata shrugged "Sounds like fun!" he laughed, Touka adds "Great, I'd be bored as shit otherwise...".. Mein smirks "Fine by me: there's still plenty of people and monsters that need to be killed... We can get paid all the time.". The General laughs happily that they agreed and she holds Lys closer, She then turns and kisses him in front of the little-witch, Anise grimaces in anger until..
"Cassiopeia! Thou must come unto me..." a voice calls out; everyone turns to see Elli walking to them! Her eyes are glowing with bright light and her expression doesn't look normal.. at very least it doesn't to Lys it doesn't who has been around her for at least a few months.. Cassi turns towards the girl "Who the fuck are ya?!" she asks... the voice continues through Elli's mouth... "I'm the god of light and verily I hast seen your saga through my powers. If thou art wondering of thy destiny or wanteth to start thy ideas with a investment; come unto the border between North Dakota and Manitoba. Verily, thou shant meet me there, for I only speak on behalf mine friend who shall, and verily wilt only pay you to speak with them.", the General smirks "Alright, it probably won't kill everybody jus' ta look at ya friend.." she laughs... The god replies "Then I shalt be waiting for thou and shalt pay thee for touching the land; we needest not speak again until thy decide.."... the glow leaves Elli's eyes and she drops to her knees.. Lys steps to her in concern, but the nun staggers back up.. "So... you're the one's who he was leading me to.." she says. The others watch her as her voice and stance has changed significantly.. Elli then notices: "Lys! ...You're alive? ..I guess he was right about letting you fall to hell..".. The Cadet smiles wryly; "Yeah... I found my friends down there...", Cassi laughed "Hell yeah! Now lead th' way!". Prata replied "Wait.. you're gonna follow that god destiny shit? You gonna trust any of this?", the General laughs again "We'll get our first pay jus' for showin' up, might as well see what th' guys hafta say! Plus, we can easily get Kim and the others on th' way...". Cassi steps forward taking Lys with her as she says: "Come on, first we'll follow this bitch to th' heavens, ha!"..
