The Universe Vans Horn was heard just as the lovers we're getting off the elevator. The van came into sight, with a familiar pink lion laying on top of it. The car door opened and shut, Pearl walked around it holding a small red carpet and small steps after she placed them down in front of the back door, a small fanfare appeared out of her gem and she played it "Attention everyone, UmGregUniverse has arrived" she said strictly with her hands behind her back: Opening the car door in a majestic manner, a Greg burst out the door and ran immediately over to his son, messing up
Pearls hard work "Steven!!" Greg shouted "Have you seen Amethyst?" He asked "What? I told you to watch her" Steven looked at him disappointedly "She must of wandered off while I was wrestling my laundry out of Pearls hands.." Y/N and Lapis chuckled at this, they turned to the van since they had heard a sponge squeaking. There was Pearl, kneeled down cleaning the wheel with a smile "Pearl! You don't need to do that! I own a car wash!" As Greg moved to Pearl Steven turned to Bismuth "I need to go find Amethyst, can you watch Garnet?" "Yeah, sure. But i looks like she's doing a pretty good job watching herself" Garnet looked at her arms and then felt her fluffy hair while Lapis and Peridot studied her "Thanks, C'mon Y/N" Steven and Y/N ran past the damaged scaffolding, that was until Steven felt a hand grab him and pull him slightly back "Dooon't forget your best friend Spinel!" Spinel winked "Oh, right. Spinel you stay here with the other and I'll be.." Steven's hand switched to Y/N's after it left Spinel's "right, back..."

Spinel suddenly felt her body tense up

"NO."

She wouldn't forget her.

Steven gasped pulling Y/N closer to his chest "O-Okay.. Let's go together?" He asked nervously "Yay!!" Spinel laughed.

And so the search for Amethyst began. With the help of Lions Portal's they searched the boardwalk "Amethyst!!" Steven called and also called attention to himself. Next they searched Funland "Amethyst!!!" Y/N called louder than Steven, nothing. For totally not reasons for having fun they took a ride on a funland roller coaster "Amethyst!!" A frustrated Steven tried beating Y/N's loudness but failed, on the other hand Y/N and Spinel were doing what anyone does on Rollercoaster: have fun. Onion's hair peaked out on the back car. Lion quickly entered the Big Donut and was out in one circle around the store after Steven had finished one more calling for the missing gem, Y/N took the opportunity to wave to her father. They quickly entered again, this time on next to the former mayor "Can we get a couple to go?" Y/N handed Steven a few dollars. Lion walked down the small neighborhood "Amethyst!!!!!!!!" The Gem and human (Are you sure abou-) called, Steven waving a donut around "I've got tasty donuts!!" He said "Come and get 'em" the enthusiasm was clearly dying down in his tone "Worth a try..." rest in peace enthusiasm "Where could she be?" crashing was heard making Lion jump causing Y/N to grab on to Steven's waist making the owner of the waist blush
The three heads turned to the sound. "Huh?" "Amethyst?" Steven and Y/N said together

the 4 peaked through the curtain to find many paintings, it was Vidalia's home "What is this place?" Spinel asked in a whisper "I-It's an art studio..Amethyst used to come here all the time..." as Steven examined the room he noticed that in a corner there was painting.. but it wasn't Amethyst.. It was a woman, with M/H/C hair but a big black Sunhat covering her face and she wore a light yellow, nearly white dress with thin straps and a fluffy skirt. The woman was standing on a boat, boldly looking to the sky, her arms pinned to her sides her hands curled into fists. Her long skirt blew in the air "Who is.." Steven got a closer look at the painting "Mrs...." He read of the back.. scratched out.. He looked at the painting carefully... she seemed so familiar.. He looked to another painting.. he had bigger problems to deal with.. the painting looked back at him "AAH!" He screamed, the painting copied and fell shapeshifting back into Amethyst, Spinel looked over. Steven gasped and ran over to her "Amethyst thank goodness you're ok!" Steven and Y/N said together "Thank goodness you're ok" (Wholesome level; 200000000000) Amethyst copied and Steven sighed "I'm very not ok.. but I've got a plan!" Steven looked at Y/N "We're gonna get you all back, piece by piece" Y/N put a hand on his shoulder and "We just have to figure out your pieces" Steven gave Y/N a blushy smile "These painting..You remember being painted?" Y/N asked "being painted?" She repeated doing the same motion as Y/N, spreading her arms out "Pew pew! you remember our handshake?" Steven made the handshakes first step amethyst shapeshifted into him and did the same "Our.. handshake?"
