Evan and I were playing a board game called Monopoly.
"One, two, three, four, and five. Hmmmm... Do I want to buy Virginia Avenue? Let me think, YES!!" I said. It was three in the morning and Evan is just like me, he doesn't like to sleep. "You've been here for almost a week and you beat me at the only thing that I mastered, besides being handsome!" Evan said. I was starting to like Evan, we bonded over things that Harry would never understand. "I'm happy that I finally found someone like me.
I was so scared that I was the only one here who didn't sleep or like to interact with others." I told him. He nodded his head and smiled. "I'm happy about that too." I started to blush until I heard a knock on the door. "Come on in." I said. The person opened the door and I couldn't believe what I saw.
Liam Payne was standing in front of my doorway. "I know you two are hitting it off, but please keep it down. We're trying to sleep too." He said. Evan nodded and laughed. "Sorry Liam. You can go back to sleep, we won't be as loud." Evan told him. Liam closed the door and left us alone again.
"So I heard that you like to swim. Do you wanna go to the beach tomorrow night?" Evan asked me.
I've always wanted to go to the beach at night, and the best part is I get to go with Evan. "I'd love too. I have always wanted to see the beach at night!" I said. He smiled and took my hand. "Well then, we leave at ten. We'll have to make sure that no one is awake and come back at... Maybe four-thirty?" He said. I nodded my head and laughed.
"What if Liam or Harry wakes up and finds out we're not here?" I asked. He smirked and didn't say anything for a couple minutes. "I'll leave a note saying that we're at the beach, he'll totally understand. I've done a million of times, they're never angry." Evan said.
I didn't want to but I started to tear up. "Well he might get mad, I mean I'm his family. They'll be worried." I said.
He came over and gave me hug. "Don't worry Wynter, we'll be just fine." He said. I nodded and he let go of me.
"Okay, fine you win!" I told him. He smiled and we went back to our game.
I wish Harry was more like this, more... Caring. I thought to myself.
Maybe I should give him a chance, maybe all of them. But they have to earn my trust. I kept thinking.
Maybe if I gave them all a chance I wouldn't be so stubborn.
You'll never know unless you try, Wynter
