As I approach my stage postioning all that I can hear are the roaring screams of 10 000 fans in the crowd of the Air Canada Centre in Downtown Toronto, Canada. As my usual nerves kick in, I tell myself, "you can do this Demi. Do it for them..."
Damn. That works every time. A rush of adreneline runs through my vains as I am raised up and onto the stage and meet 10 000 faces and 10 000 beautiful minds who have supported me through everything. I come to the realization that each and everyone of these wonderful people has a story. Majority of them probably one that is similar to mine. Rough. But I also realize that none of our stories matter right now. Tonight, we are all just having fun.
That's the part that I love the most about my job. I get to get up on a stage and perform for thousands of people and just give them a break from all of their worries for just one night. For some, it may be there concert and for some it may be there last. But again, none of that matters. All that matters to me right now is making this night something amazing that those 20 000 eyes will never lose the image of.
Anyway lets get back to real life.
As I get up on the stage to greet my fans all I can hear is them all chanting. "DEMI! DEMI! DEMI!"
Another amazing part of being in this buisness.
I hear the music begin and I start to belt out Heart Attack and the screams get louder and each and every one of my fans begin to sing along. Gotta love 'em honestly. I wish that I could meet each and every one of them.
Little did I know that the only fan that i needed to meet wasn't even at my concert.
But that didn's matter to me because she still changed my life nonetheless.
