You scared me for a bit, he said while taking a sigh. So Ms. Sharma, we can go home you're ready to go he said. He took her mask off and said, okay try to get up... slowly... slowly. When she was stable on her feet he comfortably made her walk to the car and drove to her house. He made her lay on the bed and said, take care and take your medicines on time, I'll put them all beside your bed and when your temperature is normal and you feel better come to the restaurant, we'll start your work, okay?? And with that he left her to sleep and went to his restaurant to take care of other things.
*One week later*
Mehek was all better and she dressed in a pink skirt and a white no sleeve shirt and drove to White Chillies. When she reached she bumped into Shaurya when both got out of their cars. Abe yeh yahan kya ker rahi hai, hamesha nazar lagane aa jati hai, thought Mehek. Shaurya turned to see Shruti who had walked up to Mehek and he walked up to them and said, tum yahan kya ker rehi ho, don't you know it's a working hour for us at the moment. I just cam... and before she could finish her sentence Shaurya interrupted her. You have to leave right now!! I can't stand seeing you here leave, he said angrily. Shaurya took Mehek by her hand to take her inside and Shruti replied by saying Mehek tumhe aur Shaurya ko toh main baad main dekh lungi aur mujhe kuch aisa kerna hoga ke tum dono kabhi saath na aa sako, she said with a smirk. And she left that place happily thinking about her next plan.
Everyone greeted her warmly and got back to work. Ms. Sharma can I please see you in my office and with that he went to his office. Mehek put her things away and went to Shaurya's office. Yes sir!! said Mehek as she entered his office. Yes Mehek, so let's get started, we need to start planning what we will put in our menu as you're the new head chef we need to select new dishes to use, he said. Mehek was so nervous when Shaurya took a bite but to her surprise he quickly spit it out. You call this Ratatouille. Mehek I was happy I had picked the right head chef but I'm sorry to say that I'm really disappointed, Shaurya said while laughing it out. Mehek herself was so disappointed in herself. I'm sorry sir, I know I'm disappointed in myself but I tried really hard and as you know I have troubles making French dishes, she replied while looking down. Well I told you to learn didn't I?? You need to listen to instructions carefully, he said while making fun of her infront of everyone. All the staff members started giggling quietly. Mehek quickly excused herself and ran to the washroom... I thought Shaurya would be nice today as its my first working day, aur kal mereko laga ke jis tarah se Shaurya ne mera khayal rakha he would be the same today, but I guess not, she said while sobbing. She came out of the washroom and went straight to the kitchen and asked Tanya for help. She just found out that Tanya is an International chef residing in Mumbai and with Tanya's help she made her dish for Shaurya to taste.
Much better and I hope you keep making good Ratatouille later on and now come to my office and we will discuss the menu further on, okay??, Shaurya said after tasting her dish. Yes sir... thank you so much for your help Tanya, said Mehek with a smile and she walked to Shaurya's office. My pleasure, Mehek, replied Tanya. Mehek then knocks on Shaurya's office door and goes inside. Mehek come sit, said Shaurya. They further discussed the menu. An hour later it was time for a lunch break. Mehek excused herself from Shaurya's office and went to have her lunch. After lunch break she met with the customers to hear any concerns or suggestions. She was happy to hear no concerns and felt very enlightened.
*A few hours later*
Sir, I'm glad to tell you that White Chillies is going great and there are no concerns regarding the food. Hope it keeps going like that, she said to Shaurya while picking up her things and is about to leave. Hmmm, replied Shaurya. Hmmm that's it 🤨, you know what I'm not even gonna ask... bye sir!! and with that she left the restaurant. Back at her house... what's wrong with Shaurya... why is he behaving like this, kal toh mera bahut khayal rakh raha tha, ajj kya ho gaya. Main baat karu kya kal?? I think I should, she said while she was laying in her bed.
*Next Morning*
Mehek dressed up in a white dress with black heels and she wore red lipstick with subtle makeup. She drove to White Chillies and as she entered in the restaurant with her coffee she bumped into someone and spilt coffee all over them. She looked up to see Shaurya... oops, Shaurya I'm so sorry I wasn't paying attention and I ruined your suit, I'm so sorry 😬. Mehek Sharma look where you are going, ab mujhe kapre bhi change kerne padege, he said annoyingly. I said I'm sorry, Shaurya 😐 she replied. Well a simple sorry won't help, kapre toh mujhe hi change kerne padege na!! he shouted and quickly brushed past her hitting her on her shoulder. He goes home to change and doesn't come back for the whole day. Mehek gets worried about what happened...
