I woke up, my eyes didn't want to open. I forced them open and it was still dark outside. I looked around and noticed my phone was lit up. I grabbed it and unlocked the screen. I had a message from someone but the light blinded me. I clicked randomly until the whole screen was white, and I blinked until I could see. It said:

Hey, text me when u wake up. Its so important ;)

Reagan....oh god....what was it? I texted back:

I'm awake. What do you want?

She lightly hit the floor so I would know she got the message. It took a minute, but I clicked the view button, and it was a picture. It took me a minute or two, but I recognized my face, and the hot policeman leaning on me, both of us asleep.

                              When did you take this?

She replied:

An hour ago! Im surprised you didn't wake

up! Save it, and keep it.

I clicked save and stared at it. I just started to notice that my legs were numb and I was still laying my back against the back of the couch. I was almost sitting, and his head was on my leg. I smiled despite the wierd feeling in my chest. I could feel eyes boaring into me, and I looked around nervously. Noone was at the windows, the door was closed, and....wait. I locked my phone making the screen go dark, and I saw something move behind the curtains. I nudged Luke.

"Officer Luke," I whispered. He mumbled something that wasn't discernable. I moved my numb legs, and he sighed. "Get your ass up, someone's outside."

"Really?" He shot up off the couch, reaching his gun in less than a second. He pointed it to the door, and slowly opened it. "Go up to your sister's room, and stay with her." I couldn't stand up. I felt the muscles in my legs tickle when I even loosened my muscles up. I began to laugh uncontrollably at the tingles. "Austin!"

"I-i-i-," I began to cry from laughing. My legs tingled so bad I couldn't breathe!

"Get your ass upstairs!" He snapped. I tried to stand up, but I fell on my butt, gasping for air. I got serious, then stood back up, and slowly made my legs work. "Hurry!" He opened the door and I made my way up the stairs. I got to the top and turned to the left to go to Reagan's room.

"Reagan!" I pounded on her door, and she rushed over to unlock it. She opened it, and I shoved my way inside.

"What-"

"Someone's outside," I closed the door and locked it. She was the only one without a window so her room was safe as long as the door was locked. I heard a gun shot, and I grabbed my sister. She wrapped her arms around my waiste and I shielded her. There was a space of about five minutes when all there was, was silence. I pulled her into her closet and closed the door, then unlocked the door. The front door slammed and feet ran up the stairs.

"Austin! Reagan!" Officer Luke yelled. I opened the door, and saw him at the top of the stairs. He had a phone in his hand.

"Did you see anyone?" I walked out. "Rea, come out." I heard her closet door slide open.

"Yeah," He held up a finger, "Dad, I just shot someone outside the house, hurry." He slid the phone back into his pocket, and I ran downstairs. I wanted to see who it was! He grabbed my arm as I stepped past him. "Hold up, where do you think you are going?"
