You are probably thinking " Are you crazy?". Yes I am crazy but I can't decline a racing challenge from a rivaling game. Besides we had more experience, we could probably drive around them thousands of times.

We had to have our teams picked. We couldn't choose our own teammates, it would be a random choosing. There would be one team of three on each side.

I was glad Ralph, Feelix, and Cahoun will be staying to watch this. There was a screen displaying the teams and it was already displaying Sweet Speed's. Once you have a teammate that is your permanate teammate.

These were the teams for Sweet Speed.

It was time to display the teams for Sugar Rush. The first Team was displayed and announced.

Gloyd's point of view

"How are you gonna get out of this one?" Rancis teased.

Swizzle and Rancis kept teasing me about my partnership with V. We were back in Sugar Rush.

"Just admit that you are going to enjoy your time with her." Swizzle said.

"We all know you have a crush on her." Rancis teased.

"I do not." I denied.

I may have a small crush on her but that didn't mean they had to tease me about it.

"What about you partnership with Minty, Swizzle. Or your partnership with Taffyta, Rancis.

"We don't have crushes on our teammates." argued Swizz.

                                                        Vanellope's point of view

I was in the lounge with the other girls, talking about the upcoming races.  They all seemed pretty happy, meanwhile, I was furious about my partnership.  I had been quiet for awhile and who knew how long it would take for me to snap.

I think it would be pretty soon.

"I am so excited to have Swizzle as my partner.  He's so funny and-"I interrupted Minty as I had to let out my frustrations.

"Is anybody aware of my problem.  I have the most annoying racer as my partner.  Gloyd always torments me." I complained.

"It might not be as bad as you think.  I think he has a crush on you.  I mean, seriously, you are the center of most of his pranks." Jubileena said.

"That's not as stupid as it sounds." Snowanna said.

I had to end this conversation as fast as possible.

I decided to go to the Ultimate Track to practice.  It was the hardest track known to racers and the track we would use for the Random Roster Race.

Unfortunately, a certain teammate of mine had the same idea.

"Can't you practice some other time?" I asked annoyed with him.

"Nice to see you to, V.  Besides, it could be a good thing I am here. we should probably race together.  We'll probably need to get a good idea of eachother's strategy if we're going to be a good team.  I would expect you to know that, V." Gloyd said.

"I wish I could say that is stupid."

I decided I should race with Gloyd.  It proved to be quite a challenge but a few Sweet Seekers, Ice Cream, Cannons, and Cherry Bombs later, I won.

"I knew I would win.  Nobody can surpass my skills in racing." I teased Gloyd.

"You're just mad I beat you at the last Random Roster Race." Gloyd argued.

"No i'm not." I said.

We were interrupted as an envelope flew in front of us coated in a this layer of sugar with words Sweet Speed written on it.  I took it into my hands and open it up.  It was from King Gumsrule.

Dear Sugar Rush

The first race in this series of races will be held tomorrow at our Candy Cane Track.  By a random drawing the racers have beeen picked.  These are the racers going against eachother.

Rainder Candycone, Stran Stickerput, and Citrusella Flugpucker vs. Candlehead, Adorabeezle Winterpop, and Snowanna Rainbeau.

"This is going to be impossible.  I am not going to be able to win a single race with that awful Gloyd.  Sure, he's a good racer but that doesn't chande his horrible personality." I complained to Ralph. 

"Maybe it won't be as terrible as you think.  You both are a pretty mischevious duo.  Just focus on a strategy like that in the games and there's no telling how amazing you'll do." Ralph said, trying to cheer me up but only to fail.

"Can't you just crush him for me?" I asked with a begging tone.

"It would be easier to do that but bad-anon is starting to rub off on me." Ralph said.
