Deserted Pharoah

Chapter 3

       As the Mediterranean drew closer, the woman lit a fire. It was as if she expected us. Knowing that we were now Egyptian fugitives, she seemed like she didn't care. She knew us.

     "Michael Sisk", The woman said abruptly as she broke the silence, "I am Raphael Morningstar, but you may know me as the angel Raphael."

      I stood in silence wondering how she knew my real name. It baffled me that a total stranger could be so acquainted with me.
 
    "How do you know my name Raphael?", i asked though I knew the answer.

     "Few were selected to go through astral premonitions. You and Ms Morrison are the only two who have srvived. But you must find out why you were sent back and what decisions will help decide the fate of the world... so far you have done correct.", as her words hanged in the air I glanced at Jackie.

      As soon as I turned back... Raphael was gone. And all that was left was a feather.

      Jackie and I cuddled together against the warmth of the fire. She seemed distracted by the events that are happening. I could only imagine what she must be thinking due to my thoughts lingering about the same thing.

       Why am i the one who was chosen.. could this be a mistake?
    
       Thoughts of these lingered through my head as Jackie finally broke the silence.

       "Have you figured out why we are here?

      "No... I still haven't figured out why. Maybe we will figure it out when we venture forward..."

       She seemed to have been lost in thought. I couldnt help but fathom the stress she is feeling. I wanted to speak but what would I say. How could I comfort someone just as confused as me. It was impossible. I looked onward to the sea as my vision started forming pictures. The pyramids flashed in my mind. That meant only one thing... the Great Pyramid Of Giza... it's the answer.
And with that final afterthought. My mind drifted Into a deep sleep
