Dusk's pov:
Two years later:
Its been two years since my birth and I am now growing into a fine young boy. My mother Lacey is very cautious with who I am able to become friends with. So far I have no friends, but that's all about to change. Momma said she had a vision, that on my 13th birthday I will finally be old enough to go out and see the world. Though she's warned me to always follow the sun and moon... I don't know why but I respect my momma and obeyed her rules.
I grew up in a small cottage in the woods away from human civilization.
My momma said that I will meet the girl of my dreams on my 13th birthday. And that she's closer than I think...
13 years later:
Its been 13 years and my birthday is finally here. Momma said that at the start of dusk I will start my journey and at dawn I will meet the girl she's told me so much about. "Do you know that girl?" I asked my mother before. She looked at me with a confused look in her eyes.
"No sweetie, I can just feel it. Like its your destiny to meet this girl." She would answer every time I ask her.

At the start of dusk I gathered all my stuff and set off on my journey. "Bye momma! I love you!" I said as I waved goodbye. "Bye, dusky baby! I love you too!" She waved back with tears in her eyes. "Becareful baby! Don't forget to eat and sleep!" I rolled my eyes and hollered back. "I will mother!" I turned around and disappeared into the heart of the forest.
