DUSK <3 DAWN

Chapter one:

PART ONE:
Dusk's pov:

It was a dark stormy night when my mother was going into labor. She was all alone in the woods and stumbled into a nice small cottage. It was beginning to rain and she felt a sharp kick in her stomach. So she decided to go inside, hoping the small home was empty. Luckily, it was so she walked into the kitchen and looked around for a small bedroom and fell onto the bed with a thud.

She was going into labor, she positioned herself in the most comfortable position and let out a terrible scream of pain and agony.

As the pain eased my mother looked down at her legs to see a small head poking out. She reached down and picked up the small bundle into her shaking arms.

She looked out the window and gasped.

"No... it can't be... the legend is true!" She muttered half to herself and looked down at her newborn baby, she whispered into my ear.

"Hey, baby its me. Your momma." She smiled as the baby cooed. "Yea, that's right, momma Lacey." She told the baby her name and looked out the window again. "And your name must be, Dusk."

She named her son Dusk because she had an omen.
Flashback:
The sun was shining bright in the morning sky. The world seemed almost peaceful.... until a horrible storm broke throughout the sky out of nowhere. Rain and hail started banging on the roof of the small house in the distance while the wind was whispering something into a young woman's ear. "At the start of dawn. Your child will be born with dark brown hair and blue eyes. You will name him dusk for that is when he came into the world. Your son is part of a very important future, and if he's unable to achieve it the whole world will fall apart. The goddess's and gods of the sea, earth and skies will rise and destroy the earth. It is up to dusk and his new friend to save the world, once more."
