Elsa plopped herself on the couch right next to her brother after she comes back from the bookstore. she looks at the television screen in disbelief and stares at her brother weirdly

Eden who's being entertained by the show didn't bother himself to glance beside him since he's too busy having his eyes on the screen

until a few moments later, he feels that her eyes are slowly making a hole through his head and he finally pay attention to his little sister

"what? am I not allowed to watch this?"

"but it's barbie-"

"I don't care! if you're going to nag at me like mom, do it later. now, go away. my Princess Rosella is waiting for me" he shoved her off from the couch and continues watching his so-called princess in amusement

Elsa coldly glared daggers towards his brother from behind. her head spontaneously turns when she heard the door is slightly open and revealing Ethan in his grey hoodie along with black sweatpants

she looks at him boringly as Ethan perfectly understand the meaning of that look. it's the look that he called 'give me the explanation look'

"let's go grab the best ice cream that I mention to you this afternoon. we're so going to eat a lot of ice cream-"

"not interested" Elsa answers before he could manage to finish his dumb opinion while simply walks past him

Ethan caught her hand just in time and let himself be dragged by Elsa towards her bedroom. he non-stop pestering her with a lot of questions and forcing her to give him a reason why she's not interested to join him

"why do I always need to beg you every time I want you to accompany me? come on, Ice Queen, the shop is going to close in an hour. you need to go there with me no matter what, it's an order from the most charming person-"

"let's go before it's getting late" Elsa pushed him off her since he's literally clinging on her like a koala and walked out of her room

"I never teach you to interrupt someone when they're talking. I was about to say something amazing, you know" Ethan lecturing her while they're going downstairs, heading towards the front door

while he's busy scolding her, a figure of a tall man with a trim build but not overly muscular body standstill at the end of the stairs, folding his arms along with a cold expression. both of them jumped a bit when they nearly had their face kissed by his chest

"my father in law!" Ethan shouts and hugs him briefly. In a split second, his cold face that he put on earlier immediately change into a soft smile as he returns him the hug

Louis Carson Hamilton, the name that makes everyone shivering to death. people said that his looks are not suitable with his action

instead of growing more wrinkled on his face and an ashy grey hair, he's growing more attractive and charming every each day. who said that no woman is hitting on this 42 years old man? there's like a bunch of them, lining up to win his heart even though he's a married man

if it's not because of his strict, cold and fierce personality, the whore would already have the guts to hang around him in his office, spreading their legs. being an ambitious person like always, he already owns 5 most successful hospitals

yes, he's a specialist doctor along with his wife. both of them have been an inspiration to Elsa since she wants to become like them too but not for Eden. he said that he will just work as the government official

the only boy that Louis approves to hang around Elsa is none other than Ethan. he always lecturing Elsa to not befriend those who can give her a bad influence, but he will make a special exception for Ethan cause he said that Ethan is a really good boy. Ethan is even trusted by him to protect Elsa when he's not around

people said that Ethan is one damn lucky human alive since he's the only one who could talk and joke around with Louis normally

Elsa practically annoyed watching the two of them conversing with each other happily since they haven't seen each other for a few days. she walks towards the door and wears her sandal while the two of them still didn't stop talking while walking towards her direction

"be sure to get back home before 11 P.M. Ethan, make sure to take care of my girl very well. please protect her at any cost" he pats on Ethan's shoulder as Ethan nodded his head

"now off you go, enjoy the ice cream!" Louis waves to them as Ethan replies to him by waving back and turns his head to the front

"it feels so nice to finally have a conversation with a dad. I mean... he's your dad but I always see him as my real dad"

the guilty feeling is taking over Elsa. she shrugged for awhile and without hesitation, she intertwines her fingers with Ethan and casually walks as if nothing happens when Ethan looks at her in a shocked

"you know what, Ice Queen, it's been a long time since the last time you show this soft side of yours. do I need to mention how pitiful my family is so that I could see this side of you every day?" he chuckled and Elsa glared to him

they continue walking while hearing Ethan's babbling about whatever he had on his mind. it's just one of his personality that Elsa understands the most. she hates noise but hearing his silly stories, she couldn't help herself but laugh along with him

when both of them has arrived, Ethan does the ordering while Elsa is finding the seat. she settled down on her seat and staring out the night view through the window while waiting for Ethan to come

out of the blue, a guy which is not Ethan, sit across her and waiting for her to react. Elsa thinks that this situation is really cliche as she did not put any effort to look back at the guy in front of her

he waits for a few seconds until he decided to speak. "Hi, Elsa! are you coming here by yourself?" he asked

she sighed, clearly starting to get annoyed as in her perspective, this guy is stupid for not getting the hint that she wants him to get lost

she didn't give him any answer and still keeping her eyes outside the window. he snorted and slightly shook his head, "why are you so cold towards me? I am being nice to you here" he used his nice yet flirty tone that could swoon every girl but not Elsa

Elsa slowly tilted her head to the front and watching him with such coldness in her eyes. before she could utter any words that barely came out from her mouth, a familiar figure came while holding 2 cups of caramel ice cream

"get your fucking ass off from my seat" he warned him and approach the table slowly. the guy rise up from the chair and scoff, "the knight in shining armor has arrived, I guess"

"shut up, Nath. I'm in a good mood right now, better get your ugly face out of my sight before I switch my mood"

while the man is busy showing each other how cool they are, Elsa didn't mind herself to stop them but instead, she takes the ice cream and squeals silently with how amazing it tastes

she feels annoyed once again since she couldn't enjoy the ice cream peacefully cause the two of them is getting ready to throw a punch towards each other. she let out a big sigh and turns her head to Ethan

"can you release your anger at school? you got melting ice cream to take care of" Elsa looks at Ethan's face that soon can burn the whole place

his anger slowly decreasing when he looks at Elsa as he smiles nonchalantly, "well, I think your idea is great" Ethan darted his eyes on Nath back

"I will hunt you down tomorrow then. now, get the fuck out of here cause I'm going to have a great time with my girl" he pats his shoulder and pushed him aside to sit down
