Get out of the city tonight. I'm burning it to the ground.
I hope my attendant got out before I unleash hell on this city. Yunho has always been dear to me, he needs to stay alive no matter what the cost. I wring my hands in anticipation of what I'm about to do. The capital city, Irelynn's pride and joy, will be discarded and burned into an ash. The castle, my birthplace and home is my first target. All it's fine tapestries, wood carvings, and extravagant lights are perfect. All I need is a lit match and bam, the whole place is one flame. I don't care for this place, not at all. It's a reminder how my mother had to die, how I was misused, and how Yunho was sexually harassed. I let a smirk fall across my facial features. Everyone will die, burned to death alive. A dark satisfaction flows into my body and heart, this is what they deserve and I will deliver.
I let the lit match fall. I watch with glee as it touches the ground, spreading it's deadly flame. It's like watching dominoes fall, lightning speed till the entire hallway is ablaze. I turn and jump out the open window, saving my own life. I wasn't done here yet, no I want this whole city burned to the ground. I run through the lush extravagant city, lighting little harmless fires here and there. One fire is harmless but multiple, is deadly. On a little hill just outside the flaming city I observe my handiwork.
"Satisfied?" a voice asks behind me. I whirl around, not expecting anyone. To my surprise I see a young man, way shorter than me with a lot of metal in his ears. This is a dangerous man I think to myself remembering my tutor's word.
"Y-yes," I stammer out. He smirks.
"Good. They deserve it." I stare at him with my mouth hanging open. Then he looks at me with a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Let me show you the real world kid."
"Please," I beg. "I've wanted this for so long." He reaches out his hand and smiles, his eyes becoming warm and soft, not seeming dangerous at all anymore. I take his hand and smile widely. "I'm Mingi."
"I'm Hongjoong."
