Sirena P.O.V

I heard a loud scream coming from downstairs I tied my best to ignore it, but I have sensitive hearing and can hear as far as a shark can smell blood in the water. I checked my phone then realized "Argh, its the first day of school", I can't believe that today is another school day. I'm gonna miss hanging out with my best friends after school sadly we had to go to different schools. :(

I rushed downstairs and realized everyone is rushing just like me. I looked at my grandma and see her flipping those pancakes like a champ ( we see you grannie) then my two little stepsisters getting their bookbags ready, anyway there supposed to do that yesterday. " Hey, I know I'm gorgeous, but I need you to get ready to leave cause you're leaving in... 3 MINUTES I HAVEN'T EVEN GAVE Y'ALL, Y'ALL BREAKFAST YET ARGH YOU CAN EAT ON THE WAY TO SCHOOL!" she said with a raspy angry voice.

I went into my own car and drove off arriving at my new school. I pulled out my phone and texted on a group chat texting:

" Hey, have a good first day of school!"

" Yeah, You too! 😊 ", Nora replied.

"Don't do anything I wouldn't do, Sirena!", said Alex going for Sirena's life.

"👌", I replied back to Alex's text.

I put my phone away and walked into my class and it was completely quiet and everyone looked at me. I'm over there freaking out cause I hate when this happens like what if I breathe incorrectly or what if I trip or what if I fart. As all these thoughts rushed threw my mind the teacher came in and of course, they always want to introduce the newbies in front of the whole class.

" Okay everyone gives a warm welcome to the new students," the teacher said with a huge smile on her face.

There was only me and another person so I felt a lot of looks on me. I looked around and saw this one guy that caught my attention he had blonde hair and was just sitting there staring at the window all by himself I felt bad for him and decided that he was going to be my first friend.

I sat back down and class began, when it was over I saw a huge crowd in the main hallway and was curious enough to wonder what was going on.

I went over there and saw two boys beginning to fight, but when I saw the same blonde headed dude come and try to stop the fight by just holding back the one that was really getting angry.

"I'm gonna beat you and you will be coughing up blood for weeks you may even pee out some," said the angry guy

"Dude, listen I didn't even mean to bump into you, you just got in my way I said sorry already so this fight is pointless," the other one said.

" YOU MADE ME DROP MY CROISSANT I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU!"

" BEAT HIS ASS ZACK!" shouted a guy in the crowd.

"YEAH, SHOW HIM YOUR 'KNOCK-OUT' PUNCH!" shouted another.

"GET READY CAUSE I CAN'T PROMISE THIS WON'T HURT!" said the angry one.

The guy Charged at the other dude throwing his fists so fast I couldn't keep up, but somehow the calm one managed to dodge all of his punches was impressive. Then the angry one had enough and went for a low kick to get him off his balance, but the calm one didn't even budge and just stood there and bald up his fist and punched him as hard as he can in the gut.

The guy ended up on the floor coughing up blood. The fight ended with a teacher finally noticing and putting an end to it. The angry guy had to go to the nurse's office and the other one had to go to the principles office.

I turned around trying to get back to my class when a hard wall hit me I fell to the ground and realized it was the same blondie from before.

"Oh, I'm so sorry I have to pay attention to where I'm going I blackout a lot now in days", he said with a smile as he was lifting me off the floor.

" OH, you're fine I usually don't pay attention to when I'm walking either that's why I did bump into you," I said as I gave a little giggle.

"Hah... Hey, what's your name?"

" I'm Sirena Spiers but its pronounced 'speers', not 'spyers' or 'spy' " I said trying to make clear of how to pronounce my last name since people clearly need to know-how." anyway what's yours?"

" Jake, Jake Jones."

" Well nice to meet you, Jake Jones," I said with a warm smile.

At the rest of the day when got to know each other a little more. I really like the guy he's super nice and generous.
