Screaming filled the mind of a young Nora Warrior as he sat atop a rock in the middle of a field near Mother's crown. It had not been too long ago that the Proving had been attacked by members of the Eclipse. The memory of the horrified faces of the High Matriarchs had never left his mind. They were supposed to be strong, and fearless. But they had broken at the site of the remaining Brave. Aloy. She was nearly dead but had been found and brought to rest in the center of All-Mother Mountain. When she awoke, she had been given the name of a Seeker, to go and follow the Eclipse and take her revenge as the only one who was able to save the Nora tribe. And when the word came she was dead, Abiete had felt as though all was lost. That grey afternoon, he found himself wandering aimlessly through the forests, to the edges of the Sacred Lands. That was when it caught his eye. A hole in the ground, like a cave, but just going straight down. Curiosity took hold, and he headed back to the village to get some rope.
