Chapter 24~

[Aleks' P.O.V]

I stared at the ashes of my son; my only son that I've created in this cruel world. I cried tears of sorrow, "I had to do this, Dan. This wasn't my intentions. I promise." I gripped the wooden stake and dropped to my knees on the cold ground, leaves and Dan's ashes blew with the wind. I just kept my head low; I stood up ready to leave this retched woods. Too much has happened in these past four months.

{Flashback}

"Don't forget to use blood bags not humans."
"Why not?" Dan asked, curiously. "Good question, the reason why we don't drink from humans is because we need their blood and if we drink from their bodies they wouldn't produce more for us to survive." Dan inhales deeply and hisses at me. His eyes dark blood red; covered every inch. "Why do you smell like that?! And why did I suddenly turned vampire?!" I sighed, "Eddie's a werewolf, and that's a reaction, also a defense mechanism."
"Sly's a werewolf?" Turning normal, "Yeah, and this smell is his scent."
"Is there a way to not smell it?" Fanning the air and holding his nostrils. "Either you ignore it or you run if it's strong." Holding his shoulders. He nods, "Mother, might be disappointed if I lost a son by a werewolf."
"What is she? The leader of the vampires? Or something?" He jokingly said, "Yes, be careful what you say to her cause she'll kill you."
"And promise me you won't hurt the ones you love." I lifted my pinkie and point it towards him. He lifts his and crosses it with mine. "I promise."

~Time Lapse~

I took Dan to my place to get ready for him to meet mother. "Hopefully she'll like you.." Starting a conversation, "Will she kill if she doesn't?" I opened my mouth to answer his question, but quickly closed it. I don't want him to be scared.

We sat quietly in the car, I broke the silence with a little music in the background. "Dan you're going to be fine, I promise." Not a single word... I worried.

I'm afraid that I made a mistake on bringing Dan to Mother's lair; The Halloway Hotel. Arriving to the ballroom I instantly went to Mother, "Mother, this is Dan, My son." She turns around and gives us her blank stares. "Ah I see, very well."
"Dan you may go socialize with the others. I need a word with Aleksandr." Dan began to walk away, "Aleksandr, I want you to kill this man."
"Mother..."
I looked back at Dan with saddened eyes. I sighed, I cannot disobey Mother...

{End of Flashback}

I carried the coffin with the rest of the boys. I cried my eyes out; I can't believe I had to kill him. The funeral was too overwhelming, what did I do wrong? "You okay, Aleks?"
"Oh, James, Do you think I should...tell the boys that I'm a supernatural creature?" I kept my head low, "Not without me." Eddie jumps into the conversation, I slightly smiled.

"Well should we James?" Eddies asks while wrapping his arm around my shoulders, "Are you crazy, what if they aren't accepting for what you are?!" He whispered yells. "Well that's why we don't know unless we try."

~Time Lapse~

Today's the day, Eddie and I are going to reveal what we are. "You ready, babe?" I nodded my head. Whatever happens today will become history. We arrived to the office; I went to check on everyone's office space to see if they were here. It seems Seamus and James were out, but the rest were. "Jordan, Kevin, Dex, Spence, Bek, could you guys come to the Streamroom?" They came pouring into the room, "what is it? Make it quick."
"Well since you probably know people have secrets, we have a major one." I rolled my eyes, "What Eddie is trying to say is...we're supernatural creatures. I'm a vampire. He's a werewolf."

They began to laugh, "Yeah right, where's the camera?" Jordan said in-between laughter. "I'm serious." I said sternly, I decided to show them with my blood filled eyes and fangs. "See."
