The Preparations

If you may not know this story was only supposed to be a 3 part story but because of all your love and support, I'm adding another 2 (maybe 3) chapters.

News had broke out that week that the Fairy King and Giant Queen were betrothed and their friends couldn't be more ecstatic. it surely left their friends hungry for more information on their engagement but no one pryed for answers yet as everyone instantly began to prepare for their wedding, which was set to be in 3 days.

The maidens, Elizabeth, Elaine and Diane, sat at the farthest end of the bar in the Boars hat, taking a much needed break from decorating and partaking in a celebratory toast, meanwhile their guys had set out to hunt for their evening feast.

The girls enjoyed their time reminiscing on past events, telling romance stories and pondering on their near future.

"I must know Diane, how did my brother propose to you?" Elaine asked her soon to be sister-in-law clasping her hands together with glee.

Diane opened her mouth to speak but then quickly paused and thought back to the night he proposed.

Her cheeks insantly became hot and a silly smile etched onto her face. Oh my, how would she tell them? Would she wash it out and skip the juicy details or tell them something different?

She she shook her head and squealed in embarrassment before chugging down the glass of Ale in her hands. So much for a toast. If she was going to tell them, it would be with no shame. They were all adults... right?

She gulped with anxiety and wiped the remnant beer off her lips before turning back to the girls who sat at the edge of their seats with much anticipation.

She takes a deep breath in mustering all the courage she had before beginning. Gods, where would she even start? The thought alone of her and King made her want to squeal again.

"Well, we have been talking about Marriage for a long time... among other things..." she trailed off averting her eyes away.

"But um well that night we uh... We had gotten... we were... having... *ahem* wow..."

"Oh my goodness, did you guys have sex?" Elizabeth squealed with mixed surprise and excitement.

She cringed at her sweet friend for being so blunt and put her hands over her the goddess' mouth in a mild panic looking around to make sure no one was listening.

"SHHHH Elizabeth!" Diane whispered dramaticly as her friends exchanged a glance and began to giggle.

"Oh Diane, you don't need to be embarrassed" Elizabeth began putting her hand over Diane's to comfort her.

"We're all adults here, you guys aren't the only ones who've done 'it'" she said sweetly. Diane winced still slightly embarrassed as her gaze now moved to see Elaine's reaction, who shrugged in agreement.

"It's true. It's normal to get intimate with the one you love. If no one got intimate, there would be nothing in this world. No animals, humans, giants..."

Her tense body began to relax as she took in calming words of her friends. They always new what to say and how to make her feel comfortable. It was a natural thing and she knew but... she still was so shy about it.
