After moving into their new temporary dorm the group set up a game to see who'd be getting paired as roommates this time and Yoongi had failed to get roomed with Namjoon again. This time the leader was paired with Jin, whom Yoongi was wary of the most. Jin had, more than once, confessed to having a crush on Namjoon and while the latter hadn't had any particular problem with that, Yoongi was enraged. He hadn't let it show during the interviews, but his lips had twitched into a fake smile.

Namjoon hadn't noticed.

Yoongi once again decided to have a room to himself and the other members had playfully teased him about it saying that his jealousy was starting to show. At that point he didn't care. No matter how much he protested the results had been final. No rematches or redos. He'd lost his chance and Jin had been jumping around doing his weird dance in excitement. Yoongi found himself staring at Jin more nowadays.

He watched his hyung's many affectionate expressions around Namjoon. He watched how Namjoon would take time out of his schedule to mentor Jin on his English and how the hyung would look at the leader longingly. Eyes sparking with want. It went on for days and Jin hadn't left Yoongi with any opportunities to have the leader alone. He was always there. Whenever Namjoon would stay up late on his laptop putting lyrics together Jin would be up with him.

The beds were separated yet Jin somehow always ended up on Namjoon's bed. Yoongi became more and more frustrated. It's like Namjoon was doing these things on purpose. He was well aware of Yoongi's strong presence to get his attention yet he acted as nonchalantly as ever.

Yoongi was fed up.

He invaded Namjoon's room and asked him to work on some lyrics with him for their song. Namjoon looked up from his laptop with wide eyes seeing the obvious stress on Yoongi's face. Jin looked up. He'd been lying on his side watching Namjoon create beats for their songs. Namjoon noticed Yoongi's eyes flicker towards Jin for a split second before settling back on him. The rapper looked desperate.

He stood in the doorway with clenched hands waiting for a reply. How badly Namjoon wanted to say no. Yoongi didn't look or act like himself and that worried Namjoon. He felt bad avoiding Yoongi as it was, but to see the man this drained hurt his heart. He hated to see any of his members hurt.

"Alright.."

Jin didn't accompany Namjoon this time not wanting to go anywhere near Yoongi's room whatsoever. The hyung left to go join the maknae line in their practice room. Hoseok had gone out to get food. The room was silent besides the beats of the music playing on the laptop echoing throughout the room. Yoongi didn't speak or do anything to Namjoon whom was genuinely concerned at this point.

Namjoon would mention a few things about how well their song was coming out, or he'd compliment Yoongi's lyrics every so often and the rapper would just nod or make a small noise of approval. It's been this way for nearly an hour. Namjoon was worried. He couldn't keep himself from sighing constantly throughout the session. He stared at Yoongi's curly bangs swaying from left to right each time his hyung would turn his head to look back and forth at his notebook and Namjoon's laptop beside him.

"sigh"

Yoongi tapped his pencil against his notebook and looked up to meet Namjoon's gaze. "Can you stop doing that?" He asked. Namjoon felt heat rush to his face and he nodded dropping his attention back to his laptop screen. His eyebrows met and he bit the corners of his lips to hold in the many words that were begging to escape from his mouth. Yoongi began writing into his notebook again, but this time Namjoon saw that his fingers slightly trembled.
