CHAPTER 2

AALIYAH'S POV

"I can't believe I could not recognise him" Amina said

"It makes sense though, of course..... he's the middle east doctor that is causing havoc in Abuja" Aaliyah said as she connected the dots

"So he is part of Bashir and his crew, is that what you are saying?"Amina asked

Bashir and co were top womanizers in Abuja. The group of men who flaunted cars , impregnated women and according to some rumours, even raped them. Asahd didn't look like a rapist but you could never really tell. The thought of working for a womaniser or a rapist disgusted Aaliyah.

Aaliyah had just started working for TCF and she had never seen Asahd. One could argue it was because Aaliyah was new to the job but the real reason was because Asahd had just started working there too. He had finished his doctorate program and decided to come back to the country he was born in to continue working in his father's clinic.

"I am just going to work and I'm going to pretend he doest exist"Aaliyah said as she thought of the idea of running into him.

"Sis, we both know that's not the kind of man you ignore"

"He is probably telling his friends he bought me" Aaliyah said as she thought about the auction

"Then he probably doesn't know who he is dealing with" Amina said as she stood up imitating their father

"Amina shhh .... don't let Abba hear you" Aaliyah said stifling her laughter

        Aaliyah's father was a no nonsense man, A rich one for that matter. He had both power and money and he was well respected in the society. He was a senator in the capital city of Nigeria but before he got into politics, he was a full time Paediatrician. One of the best. He even had his own clinic and he had urged Aaliyah to head it when she finished her masters but she declined.

Aaliyah who finished high school at age 16  ,decided to study physiotherapy for 3 years in Austria before doing her masters in Musculoskeletal physiotherapy for a year. She also studied medicine for 3 years in the United States of America so she could become a certified Medical doctor. 

"Goodnight Mrs Ibrahim" Amina giggled  on her way out

"Goodnight " Aaliyah muttered rolling her eyes

She was going to have to face Mr Womanizer tomorrow. 

NEXT DAY 

Aaliyah's shift started by 8am. Fortunately for her , their house was not more than a ten minute walk to the clinic but since she had to submit her case report, she decided to go early

"Mohammed, where is my car" Aaliyah asked the guard

"Small Madam, Anty Amina went out with it"

"This early morning ,why?" Aaliyah thought

"When she comes back, Collect the key from her and tell her I said she should use her car next time"

"ok Small Madam, should I call the driver for you?"

"No don't worry I will walk. Dont tell Mummy" Aaliyah said as she stepped out of the gate. She didn't want to use her Mum's car.

       After 5 minutes of walking, Aaliyah noticed  she was being followed by a White tinted car with a diplomatic plate number .Aaliyah walked for one minute more and decided to stop when she realized the car was still tailing her .The car came to a halt and pulled beside her . The driver rolled down the window
