People surrounded the site of the accident. Blood trickled from the car that hung upside down. Everyone had their phone out as they recorded . No body was willing to step near the car, or Amina's body that laid still .
"Is she dead" someone whispered
"I can't tell from here but she's not moving" another said
Just then, a Man stepped forward .
"Has anyone called the ambulance" he asked
"Ambu what? This one thinks he is in the abroad, brown boy go back to yankee " someone yelled
The man shook his head and dialled 112 .
"Hello please there is an emergency at Aliyu Hassan road, a ghastly accident. please send an ambulance" he said as he moved closer to Amina's body
"This man is mad" the people who gathered muttered
Once he got to where she was laying, he scanned the surrounding for any danger before he got on his knees.
"This mad man what are you doing" a woman yelled
"Leave him, if she dies now they will use him as scapegoat" another woman yelled
The stranger ignored them as he put his hand under her nose to ascertain if she was still breathing. He raised the hand to examine her pulse. No pulse.
He couldn't feel anything for the first 10 seconds . But then, he felt it. She was still alive.
He gently scoured her body , tapping it gently looking for any foreign object that may have gone into her body .She had glass pieces on her face and he thought to himself how that would leave some scars , temporary ones.
When he finished and didn't find anything, he stood up and put her in the recovery position. People were still watching and wondering what he was doing.
A few minutes later , Amina fluttered her eyes and drew a sharp breathe before closing them again. She had stopped breathing . He immediately dropped her legs and proceeded to give her CPR. The ambulance arrived just as he was giving her CPR and four men picked her up , putting her on a stretcher and heading for the ambulance
"Are you the one that called the ambulance " the paramedic asked
"Yes" the man replied
"you also gave her CPR?" He asked
"Yes I did "
"Young man you might have just saved this woman's life" the EMT said
"I will ride with you guys and we will take her to Fal hospital"he said ignoring the comment
"Who are you to the lady" The EMT asked
"I am her doctor and I will be treating her so take us to Fal hospital please" he said as he showed the EMT his Medical ID card.
DR ROSHAN. that was what the card read.
The EMT gestured for him to come into the ambulance. Roshan sat by Amina and held her hand as he caressed her thumb. He didn't know why he felt the need to save her but he knew he had to. He knew he was going to.
AT AALIYAH'S OFFICE
Aaliyah had come back from her patient's house and was updating her books when she got a call from an unknown number

Aaliyah never gave her number to strangers so she knew the people who had her digits which is why she never picked unknown numbers.
