Ella's POV

"Amanda? I am going to a dancing club" I tell my sister when I call her on the phone.

"What! Since when do you go to clubs?" Amanda answers, sounding really surprised! But who wouldn't!

"Since today. Now are you going to come or not?"

"Of course I'm coming!" She says "I'll pick you up at nine o'clock!"

Well I definitely can't back down now! But the big question is, what do you wear to clubs? Like I don't want to be dressing up like a slut hooking up with 5 guys at once! But thats all I've seen people do on TV and in movies!

I quickly call up Amanda, because she always has the right answers!

"What am I supposed to wear?" I ask

"American Apparel" she quickly replies, and then hangs up.

I grab my keys and run out to my car, and drive down to 14th street which has all the little shops.

When I finally find American Apparel I see the mannequins. They are all dressed in super short high waisted shorts and super tight, low tank tops.

I look around and this one dress catches my eye. It is a sparkly green that is loose and then tight at the waist. It has short sleeves. And a triangle shaped slit in the back, right above the waist line. It seems cute and good for a club! I ask to try it on, and when I do I get weird looks from people, probably because there is a 16 year old girl trying on the exact same one, and of course it looks a lot better on her then it does on me. I look closer in the mirror to make sure that the dress doesn't have a weird splotch or is tucked into my underwear, or something that would tell me what their laughing at!

I go up to the counter to buy the dress, the girl at the cash says nothing at all. And when I bring the dress up on the counter she does this funny thing with her eyebrows.

Once I'm home I pull on the dress and pair it with a pair of neutral coloured heels. I let my hair down, and I just keep it straight. Once I'm done getting ready, I go infront of the mirror and take pictures of my reflection with my phone. Even know this is so little I still want to remember it!

I hear the doorbell ring and start towards the stairs for the door, thinking that Amanda might be early. I start running up the stairs until I trip, and remember I'm wearing 4-inch heels. Now I slowly get up, take my shoes off, and continue running up the stairs. When I go to open the door, it's not Amanda. This boy turns to look at me, and I immediately fall in love. His grey-blue eyes suck me in, his full soft red lips just make me want to kiss them forever, and his side swept messy hair just fits his face perfectly-

"Hello?" He asks

"Oh, ya, hi, sorry" How long was I standing there for? he must think I'm creep from just staring at him so long, just he's perfect!

"It's fine, here is you newspaper" he says.

"Oh thank you, very, very much" I reply

"Your welcome? bye"

"Bye"

He hands me the newspaper, and walks away, smiling. I keep staring at him till he bikes away, and throws newspapers to the other houses.

"Ella!" I drop the newspaper, startled and turn to see my mother with a stern face and her arms crossed over her chest.

"Yes....?" I ask, trying to move slowly towards the stairs.

"What are doing in that gorgeous dress? And where did you get it? I love it! I need to borrow it some day!" My mom says getting carried away. I quickly go down the stairs and into my room.
