Leo

"Poseidon. Cool." I breathed.

"Hey," She said changing the topic. "I'll show you your cabin and someone there can finish showing you around." She said. I agreed and we went back down the hill. I noticed again she walked with a small limp.

"You're limping." I said. She sighed.

"I always do." Riley said.

"Why? What did you do?" She whipped around so freaking fast I took a step back.
"That's none of your buisness so drop it." She said, her eyes went wide.

"Oh my gods, I'm sorry I snapped. I never do." She said.

"Oh hey. No problem. You're under a lot of stress right? I get that." And Riley did something I never thought she would ever do. She hugged me.

"I'm not that mean that I can't hug people." She smiled slightly.

"Hey, after dinner, I can show you the sword fighting arena and teach you a couple of moves." I nodded.

"Sounds good." I replied. She turned on her heels and headed down the hill. Weirdly I was now looking forward for after dinner.

Riley showed me the Hepheatus cabin and intoduced me to Jake Mason.

"Hey dude. Welcome to camp." Jake said.

"Hey man." I replied.

"Jake you don't mind looking after Leo 'til dinner?" Riley asked.

"No problem." Jake said.

"Ok. See you later then." She said and like that she was gone. That limp really bugged me. I sighed and Jake caught it.

"She's one hot chick isn't she?" He said.

"What? No. I mean." I stuttered.

"Yeah to bad for her leg." He sighed.

"What happened to it?" I asked, sitting down on a bunk as he sat on another.

"She lost it last Summer. During the Battle of Manhatten." He said.

"It's- a fake?" I was stunned. Despite having a fake leg, Riley was all go, go, go. Ready to do anything, take on anyone.

"Yeah. Ethan Nakamura stabbed it with a poison knife. I heard the gods themselves offered her a brand new, real leg but she was like, "Nope, nope. I'm good the way I am because the prophecy said I'd be like this but thanks anyways." So the least they could do was give her a prosthetic leg dad made." Jake explained. I whistled.

"Dammmmn." I said. "I can see her in a whole new light." Which was actually true. She seemed more confident, brave, yet broken. I noticed in her eyes that they were shattered. Torn apart.

"How old is she?" I asked.

"Probably 15." Jake replied. Same age as me.

"Hey. Let me show you the Blacksmithing area and then we'll head down for dinner." He said.

"Sounds good." I said and we headed downstairs.
