Ava's POV
'WHAT?!' I'm not staying here forever! Sure maybe a few days and visits to see you guys, but I could never leave my dads!' I explain whilst pacing back and fourth.
'It's in my deepest apologies, but there is no other way. Even after Asch sacrifices himself we won't have enough magic...' Lady Grandma explains.
Suddenly, I froze.
'What do you mean?' I ask.
'...Asch.... In as weeks time on Deamos.... he's going to die.' Lady Grandma simply explains.
'WHAT!'
Rhys sighs.
'In order to return magic to Deamos we have to sacrifice Asch. Since he's the lesser heir to the Throne.' Rhys explains.
'SO YOU GO STRAIGHT TO MURDER?!'
'Well, Ava this is Deamos and this is how we live....'
'There has to be another way!'
'AVA,' Rhys shouts at me to get my attention 'EARTH WAS OUR THE OTHER WAY!'
I than started feeling very guilty. If they needed magic... I could've at least tried to help... this is all my fault. It's my fault Asch is going to die... and that I'm never going to see my dads again.
'Ava?' A voice called out.
I turn my head to see Leif and Pierce.
My heart ached with joy as I run in their direction and have them both a hug and a peck on the cheek.
'I MISS YOU BOTH!' I embrace.
'And you don't miss me?' Rhys complained feeling unloved.
I run back and give him a hug and a peck on the cheek.
'Anyway, where's Noi and Asch?' I ask.
'Noi is actually on his way from the temple and Asch is in his room.' Leif answered.
'Now onto the important question. Ava why are you here?' Pierce questions.
'She was accidental brought to Deamos through my amulet from returning to our room.' Rhys attempted to answer.
'So... Ava is stuck on Deamos?' Leif asks.
'Sadly, she will be. There is simple not enough magic.' Lady Grandma answers.
'Not even when Asch sacrifice himself?'
'Not even than. Ya know what the king is planning to do with that magic.'
There was now an awkward silence. We all knew what this meant. From the corner of my eye I than notice Noi running towards me arms open.
'AVVVVVVAAAAAAA!' Noi cheers excitedly.
He tackles me into a hug spinning me around and kisses my cheek.
'It's nice to see you too.' I reply sadly.
Rhys than fills him with all the details. Soon Noi's face expression turned from happy to worried. He turns to me.
'I'm sorry this has happened to you Ava....'
I put on a small smile.
'As long I have you guys I'm fine. Group hug?' We all nod in agreement and they all embrace me in a hug.
I know you guys have been beguine for a chapter, but it will have to be short and sweet. I promise the next one will be longer.
