I can't believe this happened. Why me? I thought staring at my boyfriend.
"Kat, come on. We where gonna go home. Come with us." I heard Jason say behind me.
"no. I need to show you all something. It's important. We'll have to wait until Carter wakes up." I said walking slowly over to Carters bed. I sat down in a chair and held his hand. I started crying silently and I put Carter's hand to my lips still holding it. I kissed it and left it pressed against my left cheek. I heard whispers of Sam,Asher and Jason. Next I heard chairs being moved around. I looked up from the ground and saw everybody circled around Carter's bed. I smiled slightly at them and closed my eyes praying this was a dream.
I don't know how long I stayed like that for but I felt Carter moving around.
"hey, Kat. I'm going to need my hand back." I heard Carter say.
"Carter? Oh my god you're awake! Hey guys look Carter's awake!" I said smiling.
"that's great! Now will you please tell us what you wanted to before!" Asher said impatiently.
"alright." I let go of Carter's hand and grabbed my bag. Opening it I rummaged through it finding the letter written in blood. I pulled it out. I looked at Carter. He looked at the letter.
"That's the letter my attacker wrote in my blood.. Isn't it Kat." Carter said steadily. I nodded "Can you read it?" He asked I nodded again.
"wait. Written in your BLOOD!" Sam said shocked. carter nodded.
"that's the last thing I remember. Him telling me he wrote my kitty cat a letter in my blood." Carter spoke.
I cleared my throat. They all turned to me. "I'll read the letter now... If you want to hear it." I looked at everybody.
"of corse we want to hear it." Jason soothed.
"please read it." Asher added
"please." Sam looked in my eyes.
" I need to know what it says kitty.. Please nows a good time." Carter held my hand.
"alright. Here we go." I sighed and began " Dear kitty cat.
I hope you like this wonderful surprise I left you. Your boyfriend bruised,bloody and broken. Did you know this is his blood? Hm, I guess you didn't. Maybe this will teach you for what you have done to me. If you don't hand over what I request in future letters. Carter, Sam, Asher the ones you love. Will die. Yes. Die. If you report this to the police. You die with them. I can see you. Your. Every. Move. Goodnight and sweet tremors kitty cat. Have a "good" prom.

P.S. see you soon..." I finished and glanced at everybody through my tears. Carter tightened his grip on my hand as i whiped the tears away from my eyes. I noticed his crying. i whiped his tears away. "Please don't cry." I whispered
"Kat, Thats.Oh my gosh." Sam stood up walking over to me she hugged me tightly crying herself. She wouldn't let go of me even when Asher tugged at her. The nurse walked into the room.
"You have to leave now. Please." She said sympatheticly.
"Alright." Sam said letting go of me so i could say goodbye to Carter. I looked at carter's hand wraped in mine. I sighed. Tears rolling down my cheeks. I looked into his Brown eyes as he looked back into my blue grey eyes.
"Katrina Evergreen, You are the most beautiful girl i've ever set my eyes on. I'm glad to call you my girlfriend, please don't cry. It makes me feel so sad. Kitty, Promise me that you won't turn to cutting again. Please, I'll be fine. There are a lot of doctors looking after me. Promise me you won't my Beautiful girl." Carter said to me sliding his thumb across the jagged scars across my wrists.
"Carter Jones, I promise you. I won't do it if you try to get better. Please try, for me... Please." I looked into his eyes tears filling my eyes, Carter already crying.
"Ma'am, You have to leave now." The nurse said to me. I stood. I leaned over Carter kissing him gently making sure not to touch any of his wounds. He kissed back gently and then i pulled away. Both of us still crying.
"Goodbye,Carter. I love you." I said puling my hand away from his.
"I love you more kitty." I heard Carter say as Jason lead me away from the room. We met Sam and Asher by the elivator. We stepped in and went down to the lobby. we passed the nice recptionest and walked out of the building. Getting into Ashers car. Sitting in the back with Jason, I rested my head on his shoulder. He put his arm around me trying to comfort me.
"Hey Jason?" I whispered
"Yeah kat?" He whispered back
"Do you feel the tenstion between Sam and Asher?"
"You could cut it with a knife." He replied
"I wounder whats gotten in between them.." I woundered.
"Mhm" Jason hummed
We pulled up into Asher, Jason, and Carters house. We all got out and slowly walked over to the house. once we got in i automatically walked my way to Carters room. I pushed open the door to find a little white peice of paper folded in the middle of Carters bed. I slowly shut the door and walked over to the bed sitting down. Terrified I opened the paper and started to read.

Ah We knew you would come to Carter's room after visiting him. Oh surprised? Do you not think We fallow you? We could be anybody... Oh you don't think we kept our say? now. If you want your friends to live you must do as I say. Carter. He's in the hospital, You have to at least kiss another guy. I know. This is a stupid command. But its one of many. Remember theese WILL get harder. Now. do your job.
