After a 25 minute drive through the island as the sun start to rise into the sky. I blink my eyes open after napping on the way there. We pull up to my mom beach house and smile as old memories start to spark in my mind. Christmas's, thanksgiving, learning to ride a bike, finding shells with mom, dad and Painting the outside of the house with mom during spring break. Noticing it's still that nice light grey blue color.

"Oh, mom. I've missed home. I've missed everything about it. I missed you so much." I said smiling softly. "I missed you too, sweetie. I can't tell you how much." She said as she parked and got out of the car. I grabbed my bag and opened the car door as mom went around to get my suitcase out of the trunk. Let's head inside as she walked up the path to the house.

I looked to my right to see a new house that looked to be recently built. "When did that get there," I asked mom as I look in that direction. " Oh, it was built a little while ago. About 6 months after you and your father left." She said over her shoulder. " Do you know who lives there?" I asked curiously. "Well I think they're bother but I'm not sure." Some of them have helped me bring in groceries before they seem like nice people." She answered causally. "Oh well, okay." Still kinda curious. "Well, head up stairs and get settled in. It's still the same room. I just added in a new walk in closest,"she said smiling at me. I smile widely and run upstairs to my room. I walk in and I'm blown away! The light pink color of the walls were now a deep sea blue color with little sea shells and a beautiful turtle paint on the walls. Then I run passed my bathroom toward me closest and I start to jump up and down in excitement as I look in my closest. It wide with a dresser on the back wall and on the side lined with polls where I'd hang up my clothes and a nice little couch in the middle.

I heard my mom behind me with my suitcase. " Do you like it?" She asked with a smile. " Like it?! I love it, mom." "You spoil me so much! You didn't have to do any of this." I said with an appreciative look my face. " Well, that's the best part. I didn't have to. I wanted to." I wanted you to feel at home." She said smiling as she walked over to hug me. I hugged her back and just said thank you into her.

" Now, you can unpack later. Go get some sleep. I'll wake you up later for lunch." She said walking me back into my room.
"Okay." I said as she leaves the room.
Before I change out of my airport clothes. I open my patio doors in my room and walk onto my small deck outside my room that over looked the ocean. I take in the scenery and smile. I look around and the I see two men walking into the house next mine. And after a moment I step back inside to change.

I put on my Charlie Brown sweatshirt and black sleeping short and crawl into bed. I quickly fall asleep in my queen sized bed.
