Chapter 6 - The Abyss [??? POV]

This place. How did I get here again? It was something that happened so long ago, that I can't even remember.

It's dark and cold. Not that I'm not used to this. I mean, I lived in the demon realm for all my life. People usually think the demon realm would be hot and unbearable, but that's not true. It's below freezing and all there is down there is demons trying to overthrow the king. And it's so, so dark. The only light is the purple flames that only the king can make (they are cold too, but they can still burn things. Weird, I know).

Never mind that, I need to get out of here. I think I've been here a few months and that never crossed my mind.

I really wish I didn't have to do this.

I morph into my demon form. It burns. You always see "morphs into demon form" in writing, but have you ever thought of how much it hurts. Just changing my body at all hurts. But that's not the point.

I ignite my flames. Purple flames. I burn a portal on the ground and go through.

...

God, I am so nervous. I am sweating up a storm where I am standing. Which I am standing in a alleyway.

I've teleported into the monster realm. I haven't talked to a monster in over a century.

I probably look weird just standing here. Do I look weird? Why did I ask that? Of course I look weird!

I cut out of my thoughts when I see a strange demon girl next to me.

"Are you okay?" She asks.

"Oh I'm...fine," I reply.

"Okay, I'll take my leave the-"

"Why aren't you in the demon realm?" I ask suddenly. Why did I just blurt that out. She probably hates me.

"Um, I am n-not a demon. I am just ...uh... a deformed cyclops....with horns."

"Oh you didn't have to answer. I am so sorry. I didn't expect an answer for such a personal question anyway! Did I mention I am sorry."

"Um, okay. Bye!"

Then she runs off. She's kind of beautiful now that I think about it. I am curious about her. Too bad we probably won't see each other again.

Woofer's Note: There are a lot of realms so I am about to tell them all to you.

There's the:

Human realm - there wasn't a Human realm before the war. Originally it was Mortal realm. I won't get into it because it was not mentioned.

Monster realm - there also wasn't a Monster realm before the war. It was a part of the Mortal realm. Where the story takes place.

Demon realm - this realm is cold and dark. Ruled by the king, who usually gets challenged everyday for power.

God realm - this realm was not mentioned yet, so I won't get into it.
