Chapter 1- New beginnings

Guys this is my first fan fic soooo take it easy on me okay? It's really bad now but it will get better I promise

(Luke's POV)
"Hey Ash, Hey Cal!" I say walking up behind them. They were standing at their locker grabbing books.
"Hey Luke!" Ashton responds looking up from his textbook. It's chemistry, Ashton hates chemistry. I figured he had a test or something.
"So Cal your just gonna ignore me? I see how it is!" I say making fun of him. Im sure it's nothing. He looks up from his phone which I didn't know he was on. When I don't say anything to him he goes back to tapping away at his phone. Probably checking text messages or Twitter or something. It doesn't bother me really that he didn't respond I would do the same thing.
"What's up with you two lovebirds?" I laugh punching Ash in the arm. This gets Calum's attention.
"Hey! That's rude!" He says to me.
There's this ongoing joke between us about Ash and Cal in a relationship. We all know it isn't serious but we like to joke.
"Jesus Calum! Cant you take a joke?" I shoot back. He glares at me and walks away. What did I do to him?

(Calum's POV)

"Hey Ash, Hey Cal!" Luke says walking up behind me. I take my books out of my locker and close it. I decide to check my texts and twitter indirects. Nothing much on twitter other than people freaking out over a band being on Ellen.(Their on Ellen today. 11/5/2014). When I check my messages nothing's there either. That concerns me because im usually being blown up by people wanting hang out. Oh well.

"So Cal your just gonna ignore me?" I heard Luke say."I see how it is" He finishes.  I continue to scroll through random social media sites. Nothing catches my eyes. When Im finished looking through my phone I put my phone away. "What's up with you two lovebirds?" Luke laughs puching Ashton.

"Hey! Thats rude!" I reply. I dont like it when people call me gay. Im not gay neither is Ashton that i know of. It just bothers me. I wish people werent so rude. I know Luke wasnt trying to be mean to us, but you never know who could be around to hear it.

"Jesus Calum! Cant you take a joke?" He asks me. I glare at him anger bubbling inside me. I walk away with frustration in my eyes. Luke's never done anything to me personally. He didnt mean it that but today's been a bad day. I scan the hallway trying to decide where to go to clear my head. I chose a janitors closet at the back of the school. No one will find me here. Maybe Ash.

When my head's clear I go back to where Luke and Ashton were. Ashton had a chemistry test in a couple of periods so he was probably somewhere studying. Luke I have no idea. I head to my next class where I find a freshly written detention on my desk. I take the detention and sit down. Ash, Luke and I all have the same first period, Music.
