On a cold, quiet night. In a city that is  constantly active. A single silhouette can be seen atop the tallest tower. A young man ponders life as he gazes over the world from above. As he stands over the edge, he began to speak.

"Life is such a strange thing. There's so much to do, yet I can get so easily bored. There's never enough to keep me entertained long enough to stick around, and I always seem to move on to the next slight sign of interest. Despite all the great things that someone can do here, most people still end up living their lives at a desk job that they barely even care about. Even things as simple as phones give you the ability to have a constant source of entertainment, and yet despite all the wonders of this world, life still finds a way to bore me." He lets out a loud disappointed sigh into the night. "Truly, a world like this, where people are falling more and more into depression, feeling like they can never truly achieve anything anymore. A world like this would drive anyone mad. But maybe insanity is what it takes to go on in such a boring world, don't you think?"

And as the full moon hits its peak, the silhouetted man leans back and lets himself fall backwards off the tower.

_______________

In the busy streets of Purgaton, crowds of hundreds of citizens, all moving their own way. Every single person has their own goals, and destinations in mind. However despite all their different ideals, together, they are just recognized as a crowd.

An anomaly walks among this crowd. Standing in the center as if he found the eye of this storm. This young man who wishes to make life more interesting by separating himself from everyone else. He starts walking away, and as he's heading down the sidewalk, he hears a sound stand out from the rest of the average chaos.

_______________

In an alleyway a couple blocks down, another young man, bleeding from several different places, is held at gunpoint by three men in suits. The young man wore a green jacket and a red bandanna tied to his wrist. He had spiky, orange hair, resembling fire, which matched his red eyes, that burned with anger.

One of the men lowered his gun, approached him and asked, "Do you have any idea what your actions have cost us?"

The young man took a glance at the other two who still had their guns on him and after coughing up some blood, said, "Well considering how your two friends there are looking at me, I have a slight idea of what it will cost me"

The red eyed man attempts to let out a chuckle but is silenced when the one who asked the question, lays in a heavy punch directly to his face. The red eyed man falls back, hitting his head on the brick wall behind him. After he hits the ground, he grabs the back of his head and screams in agony.

"To be honest son" The suited man went on, "I'm not sure you do. You seem to believe that the life of a worthless murderer is enough to pay back for the millions of dollars that we lost thanks to you thinking you could just walk in, and shoot one of our most valued customers with no consequences."

The young red eyed man turns over and vomits up a puddle of blood before rolling over onto his back. He then smirks, looks at the suited man, and says, "Well that's disappointing. I thought my pretty face would be worth a fortune. Heh heh. Well, at least I had fun."

"Fun? So you find that fun? You insane sunova..." The suited man kicked the red eyed man's stomach as hard as he could, and a large pool of blood came gushing out of his mouth.

The young red eyed man was beginning to lose consciousness. Everything was going dark. He started thinking about his final thoughts 'This is much more boring of a death than I had hoped for. There's no girls, no explosions, nobody saying that I need to survive to go back home and see my wife again. Dammit! I never even got the chance to ask a girl to marry me. This sucks. Well I guess it was my fault for thinking that this world could give me that fantastical life.' As he lay there, covered in injuries and blood, he was accepting the inevitable severance of death.
