Let's Grow Together (A Jikook Fic)

Chapter Two

Third POV:

Jungkook was up early the next day to greet Jimin and his employees before they began working on the job today. He couldn't stay too long though, he has a hectic day ahead of him. He has so many interviews today as well as meeting a producer to talk about collaborating with him.

Jimin had called him about twenty or so minutes ago, telling him they had just finished collecting their tools for today and should be at his house in about thirty minutes.

The idol had been nervously pacing his kitchen while chugging down coffee, being on his third cup already. He wasn't sure why he felt nervous, Jimin was only coming for business.

Nevertheless, he continued drinking his coffee as he continued to think about Jimin and his thick plump lips, his wide smile that hides his eyes if he smiles too big. He wondered if the man could even see if he laughs or smiles too big. Jungkook had even noticed the man had a tooth that was just a little crooked in the front, but he thought it was cute for some reason.

Jimin was way shorter than him too, even though the man was older. In fact, all of the landscaping crew from Parks Landscaping and Hardscaping were all older than him; only a couple though there shorter than him.

After a while, a knock was heard on his front door. He placed his half drank coffee mug on the counter and went to open the door. And when he did, he was face to face with Jimi while in the back his employees were pulling out tools and material from a trailer.

"I was just letting you know that were were here and that we're getting started. We'll be starting in the back first and moving to the front," Jimin spoke, as always voice high and bubbly.

Jungkook found himself smiling and wishing to hear more of Jimin's voice. He nodded before answering, "That's wonderful, thank you so much. I will be leaving here in a few minutes for work-related business, but you are more than welcome to grab any water or pop in the fridge on the back porch."

Jimin smiled and bowed slightly before saying, "Thank you so much for that, we'll get to work immediately."

Jungkook watched as the man walked off to help the employees gather up tools such as; rakes, hard and leaf, shovels, square points, and round points. Matics' and many more, piling them into several wheelbarrows before taking them to the back yard to get started.

Jungkook walked back inside to finish getting ready for work, he had many interviews and he wasn't mentally prepared for it all.

Jimin had instructed for Namjoon to begin using the hedge trimmer to trim the branches of the dead bushes so it would be easier to pull them out. He had Jin weed whacking weeds down to rake them into the grass to put in the wheelbarrows.

A few minutes into working and Jungkook had come out through the back door walking up to Jimin who had the matics in his hand as he used that to dig into the dirt for the bushes' root system.

Hoseok yelled out to him to let him know that Jungkook was behind him. Jimin stopped instantly and turned around to face Jungkook.

"I'm just letting you know that I am leaving for work now, how long do you expect to be here?" Jungkook asked him.

Jimin swiped his fingers through his hair before answering the man, "Probably about five or six hours, depending on how long it takes to pull the dead bushes in both the back and front yard."

Jungkook nodded before bowing again, thanking him again for taking care of his landscaping and leaving through the backdoor again to lock up the front door.

Jimin got back to work hacking at the ground and root system of the shrub he was trying to dig out. He would use the chain and truck but he didn't want to risk ruining the idol's grass with the trucks' tires.
