Depression

Looks like the

Blur of your tears

When they can't fall.

Depression

Sounds like

Screaming in your skull,

But the room is so quiet.

Depression's favorite color

Is black

Because the darkness

Hides the truth.

Depression's plan for the future

Is your spirit

Finally being set free from this

Worn vessel they call a body.

Depression's friends are

Anxiety and stress,

And they like to

Over analyze and break down that

Pleasant conversation into

Sad little pieces.

Depression

Hates to be glad when you're alone,

Instead send water droplets

Streaming down your cheeks in

Waterfalls of sorrow.

Another assignment of mine.
