Alex and Gene were going into an orphanage. When they entered, they saw tons of kids. A 15 yr old came to them. "Hi! My name is Karma! How can I help you?" She asked. "We're looking for a girl to adopt." Alex said. "Well, you came to the right place." She said. "Come, I'll show you around to see if you can find a kid." She said. They followed her. They saw tons of kids, but none of them were right and some had mental issues and problems. Then Gene saw a girl, his eyes watered up. 'She looks like Kei.' He said.

She had headphones on and was alone. "Gene, what's wrong?" Alex asked. He saw her and smiled. The girl looked at them and went to them. Karma saw them and smiled. "This is Sekane, she's 13 yrs old and is a introvert. She loves to be alone." Karma said. Gene smiled at her. "hi, I'm Gene and this is my boyfriend, Alex." Gene said. Sekane waved. "H-H-Hi." Sekane said. "Sekane is very shy, so it might take a few days for her to get used to you guys." Karma said. "Sekane, they will be your new parents." Sekane began to smile. "Y-You guys...are g-g-gonna take me in?" She asked. Gene laughed and nodded. Sekane hugged them. "Thank you." She said. They hugged back. "You guys can get her in two days, okay?" Karma said. They nodded. "We'll see you later, Sekane." Alex said, ruffling her hair. "Bye! See ya'll in two days." She said. "Okay, Thank you Karma!" Gene said. "No prob, see you later." Karma said.
Timeskip Two Days
Alex and Gene were back at the orphanage. Gene was freaking out that they were adopting a girl. Karma came with Sekane. Sekane began to cry. Gene hugged her, and she hugged back. Alex joined in to. Karma fan-girled and pulled a camera. "Everyone say: 'CHEESE'." She said. They smiled and Karma took the picture. "This will be going in the photo album." She said. Sekane hugged Karma. "Thank you for everything...Karma." Sekane said. "Your welcome, Sekane." She said. Gene took her hand and Alex took her other hand. They walked out as a family.
Karma smiled and sighed. 'Hope you protect her, Kei. Just like you protect Gene, please keep her safe.' Karma thought. "Don't worry, Kar...I'll protect all of them, you did good protecting her." Kei said, hugging Karma. Karma hugged back and cried. "I'm scared, something will happen to her and Gene. I just hope.." Karma stopped, Kei pressed her finger on her lips and kissed her forehead. "You've been my friend for 18 years...you know I'll protect you, Sekane, Gene and Alex. You know why?" She asked. Karma shook her head. "Legends never die." Kei said. Karma smiled and hugged Kei. Kei hugged back.
Okay, so basically, only Karma knows but, Sekane is actually Kei at 13 yrs old, so she'll have hr magic and fighting abilities. Gene and Alex will find out, eventually. Kei used some of her magic and made a new body for them. So now, Sekane(Kei) will be with them and they will never know....until later in the book.
