It's only 1 day till the Kentucky Derby and Luke had to ride me, I was glad because he is really good. He took me to the track and rode me around the track, just so I knew what it was going to be like. When we had finished he washed me off and then put me in a paddock to have a run around, it felt really good to stretch my legs. After about a 10 minute run he came to get, and then put me in the trailer. The next day we had to get up early, about 6 am. When we got to the track, it's was about 1:30, and the race started at 2:10. We had about an hour to get use to the track. It was 2:00, we had 10 minutes to get ready and stuff, I got my tack on, and Luke got his outfit on.
It was time. Luke was on my back, and I was being walled to the start of the track. We were at the start of the track, and I was doing a slow canter to the gates. I was really nerves.
SORRY THIS CHAPTER WAS SO SHORT, I JUST WANTED TO MAKE IT A TWO PART CHAPTER.
