Chapter 2

~Your Pov~

I ran out of the Everglots mansion as I headed straight into the forest. "I couldn't do it I love him too much," I sadly sigh as I contuied to walk around the forest. 

I look down at my locket "If you were here. With this hand, I shall lift your sorrows. Your cup will never empty, for I will be your wine. With this candle, I will light your way in darkness. With this ring, I ask you to be mine," I placed the ring on a branch.

"I wish you were here with me," I called out with a single tear rolling down my cheek. Suddenly the branch wrapped around my arm as I pulled back casuing me to fall down onto the cold hard ground. I felt the wind grew louder and stronger around me. "I do," A gental voice responded. I turn around to see a corpse!

I lifed myself off the ground as I started to run out of the forest as a branch caused me to fall down again. 

I groan as my ankle sting but I quickly pick myself down. I frantically made it to the stone bridge. I sigh in relief "I-I must be dreaming," I said as I turn around I meet the eyes of the corpse groom. I started to back away until I hit the behind the stone bridge.

I was trapped he leans in closer only inches away from my face. I looked into his eyes "You may now kiss the groom," He softly said as I felt his cold lips locked within mine passionately kissing me until everything turned black~

"A new arrival," A voice exclaim as I slowly open my eyes. "She must've fainted. Are you alright dear?" The corpse that kissed you asked worriedly. 

"W-what happened..." I curiously asked. "By Jove man, it looks like we've got ourselves a breather!" A skeleton happily said. I gasped "Does she have a dead brother?" A zombie woman asked.

"She still soft," I little skeleton boy happily said poking me. The corpse helped me up "A toast to the Newlyweds," A skeleton happily said drinking. "Newlyweds?!"I said in total shock. "In the woods, you said your vows so beautifully my dear," The corpse groom showed me his ring on his finger.

"I-I did?... I did," I said in shock putting my hands in front of my face. The corpse groom took my hands away from my face and smiles at me "Coming through, coming through. My name is Paul, I am the head waiter. I will be creating your wedding feast," A head being hoisted by bugs said in a french accent.

"Wedding feast! I'm salivating!" A maggot popped out of the corpse groom's right eye. The corpse groom pops his eye right back in "Maggots," He awkwardly chuckles as I back away. 

I accidentally hitting someone. "Sorry," I exclaim. "I-I want an answer, please. Where I'm I," I asked as I directly looked at the corpse groom. "Who are you?" I curiously asked as I took a good look at him he seems familiar.

"Well, that's kinda a long story my dear, "The corpse groom gave me a small smile but looking down at the ground. "What a story it is. A tragic tale of romance, passion...and a murder most foul," A skeleton with a black top hat said coming in. 

"This is gonna be good," A dwarf skeleton exclaim. "Hit it boys," The skeleton with the blacktop hat exclaim as the music began.

"Hey!
Give me a listen, you corpses of cheer.
Least less of you who still got an ear,
I'll tell 'ya a story, make your skeleton cry,
of our own judiciously lovely corpse groom.
Die, die we all pass away, but don't wear a frown 'cuz it's really okay.

but we all end up the remains of the day."

"Well! Are boy is a handsome known for miles around.
A mysterious stranger came into town.
She was plenty good lookin' but down on his cash,
and our poor little baby he fell hard and fast,
when his mommy said no, he just couldn't cope,
so our lovers came up with a plan to elope."

"Yeah, so they conjured up a plan to meet late at night,
they told not a soul kept the whole thing tight.
Now his father's suit fit like a glove,
you don't need much when you're really in love.
Except for a few things or so I'm told,
like the family jewels and a satchel of gold.
Then next to the graveyard by the old oak tree,
on a dark foggy night at a quarter to three,
she was ready to go, but where was he?"

"He waited(And then?) There in the shadows, was it a man? (And then?) His little heartbeat sooo loud! (And THEN?) And then baby, everything went black."

"Now when he opened her eyes, he was dead as dust, his jewels were missin' and his heart was bust, so he made a vow lyin' under that tree
that he'd wait for her true love to come set her free.
Always waitin' for someone to ask for his hand, when outta the blue comes this groovy young man, who vows forever, to be by her side, and that's the story of our own, corpse groom"

I ended up leaving the bar as I kept running around still lost.

"Y/N my dearling where are you?" I called out looking around the town square. "If you ask me your girlfriend is kinda jumpy," Maggot exclaim as I rolled my eyes. 

"She's not my girlfriend. She's my wife," I happily pointed out. "Y/N where have you gone," I called out again. My eye popped out "I'll keep an eye for her, "Maggot said looking around.

I looked around "There she goes, there she goes! Catch her!SHe's...she's getting away quick, quick after her!" Maggot exclaimed. "Y/N," I called out her name.

~Your Pov~

I kept running as I kept hearing my name being called out over and over again. I hide behind a coffin. "Y/N, Where have you gone!" The corpse exclaimed. 

"Married huh? I'm a widow," A spider appeared as I gasp. "Oh excuse me, "I said as I ran "How polite she went that away!" The spider gave me away. I kept running until I hit a dead end I started to climb up the wall.
