"Ah i see Ikari, i am happy that you have found closure, and that you have allowed progress for the demon slayer corps, for that, i am grateful" Master Ubuyashiki exclaimed kind-heartedly, as the young master looked on blindly towards the rest of his Hashira's.
Ikari stood there, waiting to see what was asked of him next. Yet, Ikari was hoping for a task that wouldn't ask for him to leave for long, after all, he missed everyone, and he was struggling whether it would be correct of him to ask for some time away from the frontlines, to at least reform the friendships he had lost while he was away.
The master sensed Ikari's troubles and smiled, the sensation that surrounded Ikari made him much calmer, his shoulders lowered, and he relaxed, Master Ubuyashiki decided now was the correct time to ask his Hashira what it is he wants.
"Ikari i have known you for many years, don't worry about speaking out of turn, we are family after all, so ask me whatever you want," Ubuyashiki asked affectionately, the other Hashira seemed to raise their heads at this but didn't dare interrupt their Master.
"Master, May i visit my Fiancee's grave" it was a simple request, yet it meant the world to Ikari, four long years, and he hasn't even been able to return to his lover's grave, he felt alone knowing his special someone was beyond his reach for some time.
The Hashira's reactions were along the lines of surprised, they didn't know what to expect from Ikari, but they weren't expecting such a simple ask, Ubuyashiki nodded towards Ikari regarding his request "Take as much time as you need Ikari" The master stated kindly.
Everyone remained kneeling in their positions with their heads bowed. Still, two people amongst the Hashira's had thoughts rotating like gears, Tanjiro was surprised at the fact Ikari 'had' a fiancee but he was saddened at the thought of someone so loved having to leave the world of the living so soon.
Shinobu's thoughts were still surprised as Ikari was in front of her alive, all the time she thought he had died or had been devoured by a demon stronger than his power, it was genuinely frightening to her, and yet she was so happy that she could at least spend some time with someone who meant so much to her older sister.
"Then Master Ubuyashiki if you will excuse me" Ikari rose from his kneeling position as he walked back along the pebbles continuing until he is some distance away, turning around facing the other Hashira's and his master he gave a wave before summoning his companion.
"Kaen" his partner burst into flames onto Ikari's forearm as he looks at his friend he states a location, and he is gone leaving small amounts of soot covering the smooth pebbles, majority of the Hashira's still looked on in shock as they saw someone travel so quickly, and yet Shinobu was troubled after Ikari left her side.
As Ikari's vision came back, he looked towards the garden before him, and it was a few meters away from the Butterfly estate. Yet, it was tranquil and silent. The sounds of footsteps crunching on the pebbles echoed throughout the peaceful garden.
Turning his head briefly to the left he saw the Headstone, it was carved in the shape of a butterfly, 'Kanae i miss you' Ikari thought to himself, staring at her grave he has a sense of melancholy, the memories that appeared in his head made Ikari shake.
