Chapter 8

Time skips to the 26 june:
Marinette's POV:
I woke up today feeling extra happy and you might think that today is the day that we are going to China but no TODAY IS OUR GRADUATION DAY! Yesterday Alya and I had a sleepover so I woke her up "Wake up sleepyhead today is our graduation day!" Then we took our turns in the shower, we curled each other's hair and makeup, we painted our nails finally put on our prom dresses mine was red and Alya's was black

He had only 5 minutes until our dates arrive and if you're asking Nino asked Alya to prom and to my surprise Nathaniel was going to ask me but Adrien did it before so adrien is my prom date WAIT ADRIEN WAS MY PROM DATE! I STILL CAN NOT BELIEVE IT! We looked at our reflection in the mirror before heading downstairs. Then Adrien and Nino came they had ties the same colors as their proper date and we headed to our Graduation / prom.

3rd person POV:
"Good Evening Honored Guests , Ladies and Gentlemen,
A graduation ceremony is always such a special occasion - the culmination of years of hard work; the actualization of goals attained and the acknowledgement of successes achieved. So, it is only fitting that tonight we commemorate the road that we have all traveled together these last few years.
It has been a journey that started with tentative steps perhaps, but one that has taken us to remarkable heights. We have encountered some trials and tribulations along the way...soldiered on and come out the stronger for them. We have experienced exceptional moments, magical moments and created memories that will be fondly remembered in the years ahead.
Henry Ford wisely said, "Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress and working together is success." As we look back over the last few years, certainly there was a beginning, and thankfully there was also progress and yes - undeniably we have been successful!
My, how proud we are of the success that they have made with the opportunities that they were offered. Congratulations, we are inordinately proud of you all!
You are ready, willing and more than able to grasp the torch that we bestow upon you- yours is the future and on you the world will come to depend.
May your years ahead continue to be characterized by empathy, compassion, objectivity and a willingness to take risks.
May you always lead by example and work hard and play straight.
May your successes be many and your tribulations be few and far between.
We wish you everything that you so richly deserve in the years ahead - it has been an honor and a privilege watching your progress and success!
I'd like to call Marinette Dupain-Cheng this year representator to come and say a little speech" Said the principle, Mr.Damocles everyone started clapping.

Marinette made it succesfully to the stage without falling thankfully "Thank you principle Damocles for everything, this place has taught me so much about friendship, (she looked at Alya and Nino) loyalty, (she looked at everyone) and love (she looked at Adrien) but most importantly it's taught me the best things in life the very best things in life happen unexpectedly (can you guess the reference 😉)  On Success you've got to find what you love. And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it. Today is not the end but the very beginning of our misterious lives. I will remember every little memorie we spend together and I'll treasure them for the last day of my life (a small tear felt from her eye) and I hope that we will still be friends and continue building new memories even if we go to different colleges. I love you all. I won't say goodbye to everyone but see you soon, thank you." (everyone had now tears in their eyes)
"Thank you Marinette" Said Mr. Damocles "Now I'll call each one of you in alphabetical order to take your diploma, Adrien Agreste, Chloé Bourgeois, Ivan Bruel, Alya Césaire, Juleka Couffaine, Marinette Dupain-Cheng, Mylène Haprèle, Max Kanté, Alix Kubdel, Nathaniel Kurtzberg, Nino Lahiffe, Rose Lavillant, Lê Chiến Kim, Sabrina Raincomprix. Congratulations everyone may the rest of your life be the best of your life. And now we would like to tell you that the 30th of june will be your departure date to China at 8am so please be ready and see you there. Thank you.

Everyone took pictures together then headed to their party. They laughed together and remembered every incident, every little detail, every little memory together. Then they headed to their homes exept for our four friends who decided to have a sleep over at Alya's house than go shopping for their trip to China on the next day.
