Road Trip (Dance Moms Fic)

Chapter 2: New teammate and starting the trip

Early the next morning at Andrew's house, his clock alarm went off exactly at 3:00 AM, it was the day of their road trip to Seattle and he sat up after a five hour rest, his long hair was in a ponytail and he was in a t-shirt and walkaround pants. he stretched and got out of the bed with a big smile on his face as he then headed to the bathroom to brush his teeth and take a shower.

"On the road again...." Andrew was singing as he got out of the shower 5 minutes later and put some gel on his long hair, then he headed to the closet to see what he was gonna wear for the first day of the road trip.

"What to wear, what to wear?" Andrew said to himself then decided to wear blue short sleeved shirt, matching trackpants, and men's slip on shoes. His suitcase was already packed as he walked to the living room and saw Abby asleep, then he noticed that she was getting up.

"Good Morning, Andrew." Abby greeted her son as she was waking up from her sleep and she was in her curls.

"Hey, mom, are you pumped for the road trip?" Andrew asked her.

"Yeah!" Abby said, as she was getting up from the couch and they shared a hug. "Did i forget to tell you that ever since Jill attacked you at Nationals, i had no choice but to remove Kendall from the team?"

"No, i remember. We told her without trying to break her heart, and we're surprised that she took it well even though she was crying and hopefully we'll see her dance again one day this upcoming season." Andrew admitted.

"Yep, but there is a possibility that she may come back one day. Also, we are gonna have a new member to replace her."

"There's gonna be a new member of the ALDC? Who's it gonna be because i want to know." Andrew asked, with an intrigued look on his face, then the doorbell rang as Abby walked to the door.

"Well you're about to find out right now." Abby answered her son's question as she opened the door and in came Kalani Hilliker from Season 2 of Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition with her mother, Kira and they both smiled at him as they had their suitcases in their hands.

"Hi, Andrew! it's so great to see you again!" Kalani said.

"Hey, Kalani!" Andrew replied to the greeting as he gave her a hug and then he turned his attention to Kira and gave her a hug too. "Hello, Kira!"

"Hi, Andrew! How are you doing?" Kira replied and hugged him back.

"I'm doing good, how about you?"

"We're doing good, we just moved here from Arizona since Abby invited us to join the Abby Lee Dance Company and you were very close to us and we bonded during the season two episodes of Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition we filmed this year and we are also gonna be a part of this road trip since Abby invited us." Kira said.

"That's wonderful."

"We heard about what Jill did at Nationals and that resulted in Kendall being off the team, but we both know that you and Miss Abby know that you want the best for her wherever she dances." Kalani stated.

"Can we see your son's RV?" Kalani asked Abby.

"Sure, but first, i'm gonna have to get ready for the road trip." Abby said as she headed to one of the bathrooms to take a shower and then around 3:20 AM, she came back down wearing an Black shirt with the Abby Lee Dance Company logo, yoga pants, flip-flops, her hair was down after she took the curlers out and she had her makeup on.

"How do i look?" Abby asked.

Andrew, Kalani and Kira all gave her the thumbs up as the four all exited the house and walked to his RV as Kalani and Kira were both amazed at how it looked.
