Road Trip (Dance Moms Fic)

Chapter 1: Day before the trip

On a beautiful sunny friday morning in Miami, Andrew was in his house sitting next to his mom, legendary dance teacher Abby Lee Miller, who had came from her house and they were watching TV, just bored out of their minds because Nationals had come and gone and the ALDC won for the third straight time and the ALDC booty camp wasn't until two weeks from now.

"I do not want to be cooped up in Miami all summer, we need to do something to get us out of the house." Andrew said.

"Can't blame you there." Abby agreed, then a light bulb popped inside of Andrew's head, which indicates that he just had an idea on what they could do for their summer off.

"Mom?"

"Hmm?"

"I just thought of something that we could do for this summer."

"What's on your mind, sweetie?" She asked Andrew, looking into his eyes.

"Maybe we could take a road trip to Seattle, Washington."

Abby could not hide her excitement at the idea her son suggested. She smiled widely and yelled with joy, "That is an amazing idea! Andrew Miller, you're a genius!" She then hugged him, almost squeezing the life out of him as Andrew felt his mother's arms around him and he hugged her back.

"But the question is, what kind of vehicle are the moms gonna use?" Andrew then asked, scratching his head. "A car or a van's out of the question." Then Abby came up with this awesome idea that could be the answer

"Maybe a motorhome?" Abby suggested. "Since you're rich, we can buy one for them since you already have one that we'll use."

"Nothing gets past you, Mother Dear." Then they headed out of the house and we headed to a RV park, where they could find an RV for the moms to have for the road trip and future road trips.

"Hello, how may i help you?" The manager said, shaking their hands as they responded with a handshake.

"We're looking for an RV that fits up to ten people because we're going on a road trip to Seattle." Andrew explained, then the salesman shows them many RV's that we could use, they're all very good, but we didn't choose any one of the RV's, then while looking around, one RV caught Andrew's attention as he turned around and looked at it.

"How about this one? The moms would love driving this!" Andrew stated as he pointed at a Class A RV, which was a 2012 Fleetwood Discovery 40g as Abby eyes went wide at seeing the large RV.

Inside the RV, it was like a palace like Andrew's RV. The interior had wooden cabinets, the wallpaper was dark brown, sofas that were colored white, it had six TVs, it slept up to eight people, bunk beds with tv/dvd players in each with surround sound, king bed option, refrigerator with ice and water maker option.

"I just died and went to heaven." Abby said, admiring the interior.

"I bet the moms would love to drive this." Andrew stated.

"Nobody has bought this one yet, i'm surprised this one interests you guys." He told them, noticing that they loved it.

"It does, how much is this?" Andrew asked the salesman, intrigued to check, and he showed them what the price was and they thought that it would've been too high, but it wasn't, and surprisingly it was in the 50-60k range, which is agreeable between Andrew and Abby and they buy it, then Abby noticed that her son took out his phone.

"Whatcha doin, son?" Abby asked.

"I'm calling one of the moms." Andrew replied as he dialed Melissa's phone and it only took two rings as Melissa picked up.

"Hi, Andrew." Melissa greeted. "How are you?"

"I'm doing good." Andrew replied.

"That's good to know."

"Melissa, can you bring the other moms over to the RV Park? we have a surprise for you."

"Ok, we'll be there."

"Ok, see ya." Andrew hung up and five minutes later, he and Abby see Melissa's car turn into the RV park and getting out of the car with Melissa was Kelly, Christi and Holly.

"What's the surprise?" Christi wondered.

"Remember when we were telling you that we were planning a road trip a few months ago, and the trip will be tomorrow?" Abby reminded them.

"Yeah." Kelly said.

"Well, Mom and i thought that we'd buy you your own RV to travel in, what do you think about that?"

"That's nice of you two to do that, how does it look like?" Holly stated and then Andrew pointed at the Fleetwood Discovery 40G and the moms eyes went wider than saucers and after they checked it out, they then shook the salesman's hand after buying it and Kelly got in the RV.

"We'll see you at Andrew's house early tomorrow morning!" Kelly said as she drove the RV out of the park as Melissa, Holly and Christi followed her, then Abby and Andrew left and headed back to his house, where Andrew's RV, which is a 2008 Fleetwood Excursion 40x that he acquired after trading his 1989 Prevost XL40 LeMirage Country Coach for it.

Abby and Andrew continued to spend the day together and when it was 10:30 PM, they both yawned and got ready for bed.

"Remember, wake me up at 3:00 AM and we'll be out at 3:30 and we'll take turns driving." Abby reminded her son as he smiled.

"I will, Mom." Andrew said and later on that night, they both changed into their pajamas as Andrew climbed into his bed as Abby slept on the couch, waiting for the road trip tomorrow and it was gonna be a fun one.
