I don't feel you
Ripped the last page out
I don't even get jealous when you mention other women
I don't, I don'tCourtney was mindlessly scrolling through her feed when a familiar face was smiling alongside another.
"bloodbath 4 was the lamest shit. i may have wasted twenty bucks but it was spent in good company at least." The photo was captioned.
Her eyes seemed to burn as she stared at the casual arm slung over the girl who had been the start of many arguments, with her pale skin and teal striped hair.
She clicked her phone shut and chucked it down on the bed.
"I don't care..." She muttered aloud, although the slight ache in her heart and the nausea in her stomach said otherwise.
I don't miss you
I'm doing better now
I don't even think of calling
Cause I never feel like talking
I don't, I don'tWhenever they had an argument and wouldn't talk for hours or days, depending on how bad it was, she still never deleted pictures or changed the lock screen on her phone.
She had originally held out, assuming one of them would eventually cave and they'd pick back up where they left off.
Both had been silent for the past month. The longest they had ever been broken up, even in their rollercoaster of a relationship.
As she changed her wallpaper from her smiling face and him kissing her cheek, an early memory from the beginnings of them, she let out a shaky sigh.
"You're beyond this Courtney. He's just a stupid boy." She chastised herself.
Oh, but what it would feel like to hear his voice again. To hear princess fall off his lips with his trademark smirk....
Truth is I'm dishonest
Cause I'm always scared to get too deep
Truth is that I want this
Cause I always see you in my sleepHis goatee was tickling the back of her exposed neck. And his damn dog collar was poking her; normally he took it off but in the heat of the moment, the little things were forgotten
The sexual chemistry of their relationship had always been strong. However both of them knew they abused it so they didn't have to confront the somewhat terrifying emotions and unspoken words between them.
"You know I didn't mean what I said earlier, babe. Right?" He asked huskily and she started, thinking he had dozed off after they had finished.
She turned slightly to look into his sleepy eyes, that still held all seriousness in them.
"Yea...I know. Me too." She whispered, her words sticking more than she'd like. It was the somewhat apology that both were accustomed to giving when they were tired of fighting.
With everything buried between them for now, he leaned in and gave her a gentle kiss.
He then rolled onto his back and she followed, so she could lay her head on his chest.
A blaring noise caused Courtney's muscles to seize up as she woke up. For a moment she had to catch her breath.
Looking at the empty, cold spot beside her, she realized she wasn't having a nightmare, just another lovesick dream.
Sighing, she swung her legs over the bed and got up to start her day.
When I touch me, I'm wanting someone else
I don't even think about you
Reminisce it, wish I had it
Cause it wasn't even that good
Wasn't even that good
