Coming closer, he had his hand in his pocket. I can't believe I let this gobshite in my life in the first place. I was young and definately stupid back then.

"Uhm sorry, Have we met before?"
I smiled as I inched my head closer enough to frown at him.

How the lord knows I wanted to strangle him. Right. now. Right. there. But I needed to keep the charade on. It was the only option left because I can't risk on him finding out. It would put many things at stake. And I can definitely not trust him anymore. A trust once broke is never mended.

He laughed without levity.

I kept smiling and waiting for his response.

"Have you lost your memory?" He continued laughing while I stood to watch him. When he saw my expression was neutral, I guessed he now sensed how serious I was.

He tried to reach out, but i flinched at him like he's gone crazy.

"Look Mr. maybe you think I'm someone you know, But I'm Sakeenah. And I am-

Shit! I'm blowing myself out.

"Safiyah. It's me. Julian. Your Husband." He interrupted me. But he did look worried.

Seriously girl?? You need to step up. He cheated for God's sake.

Ex. I mentally corrected him.

"Sorry, I meant your Ex-husband"
He placed his hand on the bridge of his nose and shook his head. I saw remorse in his eyes.

I scoffed.

"I think you better go now before my boyfriend comes see you here. And trust me, he doesn't like anyone bothering his girl."
My anger was slightly surfacing. I had to conceal the hurt there. I thought about the main reason that ended our marriage and all I could do is internally gag.

"I am not going anywhere until you admit you remember me, because you darn never did"
He stood sternly and....smirking.

Please, why didn't anyone stopped me when I was marrying this idiot.

I was saving his a$$ before Amar finds him here.
But who am I to judge. It is what it is. Sometimes we can't pull people to go to Heaven. At times we just let fate take it course.

Amar stood as he saw my facial expression. Right time to come. Julian looked at Amar as if he saw a predator.

"Kee, who is this?"
He looked back and forth between Julian and I.

"Well Baby, I don't know either. He claims to know me saying I was his Ex-wife. I told him he's found the wrong person but he kept Insisting." I called him 'Baby'. Lord. I just don't want him to think I'm falling for him. But I also needed to make this real.

"Urm...Mr. Ravellino, I didn't know..s-she was y-your Girlf-friend."
he stuttered.

"Look here Mr. Mckinley, I don't like anyone bothering my Girlfriend. If you think she looks like your Ex-wife. Which I know is not possible, It's better to just approach her and walk away if she thinks you're mistaken. This should never Happen again. Am I clear?"

"Yes s-sir"
He immediately walked away. I've never seen Julian shaking in his pants before.

"Wow. Do you know him?"
I said to Amar once Julian was no more in view.

"He's my employee"
He huffed like its one of the most stupid question i'm asking him. I don't get this still.

"Wait ...wait...wait. But he work in the ICT department in Royce tech Company. So I don't get how he works for you?"
I creased in confusion. I was still trying hard to put two plus two.
