It's now 11:27am and I'm in the car on my way to my counselling session.

As i was driving i decided to put the radio on because I forgot my aux cord.

The song "Not Today" by Imagine Dragons came on.

Me and my dad used to sing this song on karaoke together when i was younger. It was one of our favourite songs.

"it's gotta get easier, oh easier somehow" I sang along.

Today seemed different, it felt special for some reason.

I just pulled up to the location my mom told me to go to.

I had to park a few blocks away as there was no parking on the street where it was.

As I was walking down the street feeling the brezzy air hit my face I noticed this old wooden store that court my eye

I had a few minutes to spear so i decided to go into the store.

As i walked in the store I heard the bell ring above me alerting that someone entered.

I walked down the first isle admiring the wooden antiques and some old street signs along with some records.

As I was about to leave the store something court my eye. It was a beautiful silver and gold clock that looked identical to the one my dad gave me when I was younger, but it broke a few months ago.

I had to get this clock so i did. I picked it up and walked over to the counter where I was greeted with the sweetest old lady.

"Hello dear" the lady says getting up from her chair walking over to the counter giving me a sweet smile.

"Hello" I say smiling placing the clock on the table.

"Is that all for you today?" She asked wrapping the clock in some brown paper placing it carefully into a bag.

"That's all thanks" I say.

"Ok that'll be 25 dollars 50 cent" she says.

I hand her the money as she places it into the old cash register.

"Here you go" she says giving me the bag that had the clock inside of it.

"Thank you very much!" I say taking the bag from the lady's hand.

Before I could leave she lightly grabbed my hand and said "I can see pain in your eyes dear, I just want you to know that things are gonna get better"

I looked up at her and say "well I hope so"

"Good day dear"

"You to" I say giving the lady a smile before walking out of the store.

As I was walking down the street I saw a poster that read "angels are looking over you"
