The sound of drums echoed across the dead lands.

Men and women alike ran from both east and west clashing with each other in a bloody war. Screams and cheers erupted across the battlefield after every death. Some were flying above and others were below the surface of the earth.

Ethan nodded to King Caspian who was fighting with King Kallath. He roared, causing every vampire to retreat near the border.

"After them." King Kallath shouted." Don't let them get away."

Flashes zipped pass Kallath who stood as still as a rock. There was no way he was going to get away but someone suddenly ran from behind the army of vampires.

A girl with long, silky midnight hair in a high bun with two pools of onyx which stood out against her fine white skin. She was dressed in red and black with her hand raised in the air.

"Kante Mayg Solisto." His eyes widened in surprise as he recognized the ancient language.

"Lviro casate namaga."

"Fall back." The demons were surprised when they heard their king tell them to retreat but followed his order nonetheless.

"Makati."

But it was already too late. The ground was suddenly split in half and a huge jem was levitated from the boiling hot lava beneath.

"Are you prepared to make a deal with me?" Dorothy asked.

"Depends on what you want."

"I want that if I help you win your war you crown Time as king when he's turns 17 which is in two years time."

Numerous protests were thrown out because of her statement but once again they were crushed by Caspian's voice." It's a deal."

Everyone looked shocked but Time was frightened. He knew her power and knew that she was capable of winning the war but he wasn't sure if he wanted to be King. Dorothy heard his thoughts and gave him a subtle wink dispersing her worries.

"These demon's life source is heat, mainly lava. There is a gem in the middle of the dead lands that controls the lava that runs underground." Dorothy explained. It was surprising that their weakness was the cold.

"So all we have to do is break the gem." Nathan said.

"I'll break the gem." Dorothy said.

The gem shattered into a million pieces. All Demons fell to the ground one after another. King Kallath turned deathly pale and cursed them before dying.

"What do you want in return?" She knew her non-existent life was on the line. He could ask for anything and she would have to give him.

"Your hand in marriage." The council had been pressuring him into marriage lately this was the perfect chance to get a powerful heir.

"You have a deal." They sliced the middle of their palms and shook hands. The two different types of blood clashed together and fell to the floor glowing.

A black fog drifted through the battlefield, turning the fallen bodies to ash. The smoke clustered together to form a woman. Zea stood tall in her dark attire and eye-catching crown.

She strutted forward and stuck her hand out." I want a peace treaty."

Dorothy caught her eyes and just smiled. She had broken out of the effects of zombie dust. Zea smiled back. The two were smiling but you could feel the tension from a mile away.

"Tonight we celebrate our victory." The sea of people stood outside the castle front listening to their King intently.

"We celebrate our new treaty with the witches." The people rejoiced; they were now less likely to head into a war and now their kingdom would be stronger.

"And we celebrate your king getting a queen." A woman suddenly flashed to his side. Hair as black as night and eyes containing darkness but if you looked long enough, which no one ever did, you would see a hint of blue.

She was a nation destroying beauty clad in red, matching outfit with the King. His arms sneaked around her waist and she melted in his embrace looking at him with love and admiration.

Dorothy smiled as she heard the people aww and Time clench his fist in anger. As you would have guessed Time was completely against the idea of Dorothy marrying his elder brother but when he realized that this was all for him gaining the throne, he was pleased.

It seems the male lead wasn't all that loyal.

Now, she was going to be tied down by this power hungry King.

[Well this is a shock. I never thought that you would seduce the King to get your own way.]

' I did nothing.' That was a lie. Maybe she had subtly flirted and played around with him a little but that didn't mean she was a seductress. It just meant that the guy was stupid enough to be attracted to her.

The crowd roared at his statement. Caspian didn't think his people would be that happy.

[So how are you going to get out of this one?]

' Who says I want to.'

[Oh?]

' I would have more power by being queen. Every possible decision would be ran by me as well as the King and his good for nothing council.'

[But won't Time get the throne soon?]

' I suppose.'

[Then what are you going to do?]

' That's for me to know and you to find out.'
