I sigh, "You didn't actually want to go on a date with me, did you?"

"What?"

"Let's face it. You asked me out simply because you wanted to forget something, right? Or perhaps... someone?"

He made a face full of guilt. Although i'm hurt, i have to admit that he still looks great although he looks guilty af.

"So you noticed, huh? I'm really sorry. I used you as a way to forget my ex girlfriend... I didn't mean to hurt you."

At first, i thought he would defend himself saying i was overthinking... but he was honest. I had to forgive him. I can't be mad at him.

Wow.. I'm officially a rebound.

Junkyu puts his hands on the air.

"You can hit me, slap me or even kick me as much as you like... I'm really-"

"Whoa chill dude. I'm not mad. Besides, it's not your fault for falling in love... and you shouldn't have forced yourself to forget someone."

"... so you're not going to kill me?"

"Why would I? I'm hurt but I would've been more hurt if i didn't knew your true intentions of going on a date with me."

"I'm really sorry..."

"It's fine. Thou is forgiven."

Another round of awkward silence.

"Um... Can i ask you something?"

"Yea sure. What is it?"

"How did you find out?"

I smiled.

"It was pretty obvious. When you asked me out, she waved at you but you looked somehow hurt? When i said yes, you look relieved instead of happy. The whole date, you actually seemed distracted. I also did some research beforehand... It was pretty obvious..."

"You must hate me for not being able to get over my ex, right? I'm such a pathetic human."

"You're wrong."

He gives me a 'what do you mean' look.

"It's not that you can't forget her..."

I stare at him straight in the eye. This time seriously.

"You're still in love with her, aren't you?"

It was the next day and i was discussing with Junkyu about my plans of making him go back together with Chaeri. Afterall, it's my job as a cupid.

Junkyu and I turned around. It was Yedam and Doyoung running towards us. When they reached us, they were out of breath.

"Good morning, guys. Quite a breathtaking morning, eh? Ehhhh?"

I laughed at my own joke and Junkyu just gave me a thumbs up. Yedam rolls his eyes.

"Please don't make the morning even more worse..."

"We literally searched the whole school for you."

"Why?"

The two stares at me.

"Me? Me?"

"Yes you! Why didn't you tell us you went on a date with some douchebag?"

"Yujin told me that you might be hurt after the date. Where's the guy? Imma kkakung the hell out of him..."
