RING. RING.

The sun gently shined as the school bells rang loudly, indicating the end of the school day. Running down the hallways, the eager dark-haired girl paced towards the locker room; she tried to beat all the hustle. The noisy year sevens, the gloomy year eights and the stressed-out year 11s. Her locker was located in the far corner so she had to shove through some people. Her brown eyes darted from left to right as she eagerly looked for her.

Damn. She groaned as she reached her locker noticing that her best friend wasn't there. Annoyed, she groaned as she opened up her locker to take out her coat. It was around wintertime, and in the UK, the weather definitely wasn't an ally. Sure she looked like an idiot marshmallow with the coat on but at least it kept her thermally warm.

Reaching out to grab her phone, she pulled up piano tiles and hummed a small tune. Oblivious to the fact that someone was walking up behind her.

It was probably about 5 minutes since the lessons had ended, and she knew her mum wouldn't be impressed if she was overly late, so she was about to head out. Fixing her coat up a bit, she elevated herself off the walland stretched her back. As she put her heavy backpack on, she felt at unease for some reason. She shrugged, It was probably nothing.

"BOOO!". screamed an unknown figure.

Screaming, the girl fell to the floor. Rubbing her head a bit, she looked up to finally see her. Her coal-black friend had finally arrived. Annoyed, she couldn't help but pout, annoyed.

"Took you long enough.".

The black-haired girl laughed as she extended her arm," Hey! You were the one that was gonna leave me.".

The brunette grabbed the offered arm as she held onto it.  The black-haired girl began to mutter a chain of words about her long day as the brunette softly blushed at the other's cuteness...
