I know, I know, if it's not your taste then I'll highly respect that. But don't degrade them, please?
They're also human, have feelings. Hate them if they really did such a terrible thing (other than existing and such shallow reasons to put in here because it's CLEARLY unreasonable asf)
I'll give this an example, BTS. Yes, 7 boys, 7 Korean citizens are getting popular and more popular.
What's the point of hating them? Because you see some toxic traits in the fandom. Yes, there are toxics in our fandom because I'm part of their fandom, and toxic traits too. But if you go deeper, you'll see mature things there, something that is not toxic
IF YOU DON'T GO DEEPER, YOU'LL ONLY SEE SOME BAD THINGS. I'LL TELL YOU THIS. SOME PEOPLE DOESN'T MIND GOOD THINGS ON A PARTICULAR SUBJECT, ONLY BAD THINGS AND THAT PARTICULAR SUBJECT IS HATED FOR THAT.
YES! HAVE YOU NOTICED PEOPLE WHO DOESN'T CARE ON THE GOOD THINGS YOU'VE DONE AND ONLY SEES YOU IN YOUR WRONG? TERRIBLE, RIGHT?
Second, do you know what those "ching chong" words means? Those "ching chong" words they compose and sings their whole heart out?
Have you heard their album "Love Yourself"?
It's purely all about loving yourself, for who you are. They saved many people from hating themselves to loving themselves, how can you hate them for that? Could you please appreciate that even for a little?
They also held a speech in UNICEF about loving yourself, encouraging EVERYONE to love themselves for who they are.
I bet some people only hated artists like them because they heard it from other people. Big bullshit, I experienced that, too!
I hated some artists because I saw or encounter people that hated those artists, and I started to hate them, too.
Not long after, I didn't hate them like I used too! Wanna know why?
Because I see that they're not doing terrible and immoral things. Instead, they trying their best to entertain their fans, as long as you don't step on the others.
So, stop comparing those old golden times to this generation because they're totally different each other. We all have our different tastes anyways :3
