You found my journal. Good. I was hoping someone would run across it somewhere down the line. The contents within this booklet display my endeavors through the world of pirating, magic and all. And somehow, my life bridged between the two. First of all, you're probably wondering who the hell I am, talking to a reader I don't even know. Well, for starters, my name is Cassius Morgan, Captain Cassius Morgan. Alongside me is my brother, Quartermaster Percival Morgan. Before this journal came into existence, I used to be a captain at one point in my life. I've been to the edge of the world, I made great allies and mortal enemies. Some still hunt me to this day, though by the time you read this I might be a dead man lying in Davy Jones's Locker, and my brother may take over. Who knows? But I'm here simply ready to tell my tale. It's a long one, of course, but I'm glad that you who sit here with this book are willing to listen to my tale(and my brothers). There is one more thing that I should express, however.
This tale does have a happy ending. But it doesn't hold a happy beginning. If anything, it holds the inner turmoils everyone around my age has felt: shunning. This part of my life happened around the time I turned 17. I'm 20 years old as of writing this, as infamous as I've become. Maybe things change down the line, or maybe I die a gruesome death. Either way, I'm proud of my life because I was brave enough to chase what I believed in. I feel you all should be too. So let's start where this all started, in my sea port town of Whale's Brig.
