"Remember how we used to dance?" He asked, taking her hand and dragging her to the middle of the room, his steps in tune with silent music.

"I remember." She said quietly, her head moving to his chest as they danced, his hands on her waist, hers on his shoulders.

"We'd play music, and leave whatever we were doing, and dance."

"Even before we were dating."

"Even before." He grinned, looking down at her.

She looked up at the love of her life, taking in his beautiful green eyes, his green eyes. The ones she never thought she'd seen again.

"I love you." He said, running a hand through her dark hair. This felt familiar.

"I love you too, Adrien." She said, swaying to the music that was so vidid in her head it was like it was really playing. She wondered how it was possible when he began humming the same tune.

"It's been so long, Love." He murmured, his nose in her hair as he gently pressed a kiss to the top of her head.

"It has." There were tears in her eyes as she whispered her response.

"I'm sorry." He said. "I won't leave you again."

"I trust you." She'd said, looking up at him with a small smile.

"I love you, Bug." He smiled softly, running his hand through her hair again. A hand covered in leather. A hand covered in blood.

"Marinette?" Her thoughts were interrupted by her friends voice. "It's time to go."

And Marinette found herself, swaying in the middle of her room, arms around herself, crying.
