when Soulmates meet

Chapter 1

Mary's pov

So, what is a soulmate and how do you meet your soulmate well there are so many different ways to meet your soulmate. But for us we have these markers for girls the colours are Red, Purple, and Pink and for boy the colours are Green, Blue, and Yellow.

But we don't get these markers until we turn 16 as soon as we turn 16 when we wake up the marker is there with a notepad. You can only ask questions to find your soulmate but when you get close to knowing the notepad starts to stop producing paper.

So your probably wondering who I am well my name is Mary I am 15 turning 16 in 4 weeks' time and I'm so hoping my soulmate is Harry his really nice and sweet but when I try to talk to him or he talks to me I stutter and embarrass myself but we wont know for another 4 weeks.

Right now, I am walking to the park to hang with my best friend and her soulmate Brianna and Riley they both turned 16 4 weeks ago and usually your soulmate turns 16 in the same month you do, and they found each other about a week ago.

As I reach the park I see Brianna and Riley and I walk up to them and say "hey how are you both going today can you believe today is the last day before school starts" they both looked at me and says "yea this vacation has gone so fast are you excited for your birthday" I looked at them both excitedly and screamed "YES I sure am I just hope my soulmate is nice and sweet" they both looked at me and snickered and said "your hoping its Harry are you" I nod and blush.

We choose to go to the movies and watch the new movie that just got released its about Queensland's two superheros Butterfly and Cat boy they save people that have been Akumatized and help the citizens of Queensland feel safe.

I actually have a secret I've been keeping to myself as I don't want my family or friends hurt but I am butterfly and I really like saving Queensland's citizen's as it is my way of helping people and I love helping people even though they don't know it's me.

I'm not sure who Cat boy is but that's for the best through because that could put our citizen's self's in danger so I don't ask but he keeps flirting with me and asking me when are we going to know of cause I have to say not now but he is starting to understand.

Harry POV

So, I'm sitting at the park waiting to meet with my friends when three girls came into view and one of those three girls was my crush and I am hoping she's my soulmate but at the same time I also hope butterfly is my soulmate.

I have a secret I can't tell anyone and that is I am Cat Boy I wish I could just scream it to the whole world, but butterfly has a point I don't want to put my family or friends in danger.

So back to my civilian self-crush her name is Mary she's absolutely beautiful she's hanging with her two friends I think they are talking about seeing a movie so I'm thinking I might convince my friends to go see the same movie so I can see her more cause she turns 16 in 4 weeks' time and I might not be her soulmate though our birthdays are so close to each other.

So, I see my friends Terry and Brandon they both found their soulmates a week ago they are Mary's friends Brianna and Riley I am really jealous of them, but it's ok I'll find mine in 4 weeks' time.

So, as I see them walking up to me, I stand up and meet them half way and say "hey do you want to go to see the new movie" they both nodded and said "yea totally dude" so we were walking to the cinemas and then Terry says "aren't the girls going to see the same movie"

I look at them and say "yea they are I want to be around Mary a little more cause in 4 weeks' time we may not be soulmates and I have a massive crush on her" Terry and Brandon look at me with smiles on their faces and they say "that's ok dude your secret is safe with us and let's get going then so we don't miss out".

We got there just as the girls were getting their snacks and we went and got our tickets and court up with the girls and to say they weren't surprised would be an understatement Brandon and Terry walked up to their soulmates.

Mary was the first one to say anything "Hey Harry, Terry, Brandon how are you guys going" we all said "we are good thank you how are you going" she said "yea going well excited to get back to school and get this year over with" we all laughed and agreed we then went and got our snacks and then walked to the theatre.

We all sat down I even got to sit down next to Mary as the movie started Mary had looked at me and said "are you excited for your birthday" I said "yea I am how about you looking forward to it" she nodded and said "can't wait to meet my soulmate".

That made me feel down, but I didn't show that because I didn't want her to feel bad cause I really wished she was mine we will see. Then as we were watching the movie, we hear a bang and then we all run outside to find another akumatised victim.

I excused myself and ran away.
